Guana Island is fabulous!! 850 acres to explore. Terrific hiking trails. 7 beaches (you do have to hike to some of these-which is fun in itself). Only 15 rooms. That's only 30 guests max. One of the most attentive and by far friendliest staffs we've encountered. Neat accommodations. Outstanding chef with 3 gourmet meals a day included (you can even gourmet...

This was our second trip to Guana and will certainly not be our last. As we did last year, we found exactly the right combination of activity (hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding) and relaxation (lounging on the beach, floating in the water). The staff continue to be just wonderful and really make your stay perfect in every way. There are only...

I really wish I could lie and tell everyone that Guana was overrated and poorly run so that it never becomes discovered...and I kind of hope that the eclectic group of patrons quietly continue to visit year after year and nothing ever changes...because Guana in simply the best. I cannot find one negative comment to make about the experience my...

This is the most perfect place, ever. The room was wonderful. We had a great view and every morning we lounged around in our robes drinking nespresso before heading to breakfast. The meals were fantastic. It was like eating at a top restaurant every lunch and night. You have the choice to be on communal tables or to dine privately....

We visited the place in late May-early June and the weather was not the best - windy, which made for a not so great first night of sleep. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating and we ended up moving to a different room, in a less windy location and with an A/C unit, which helped in part with the...

Letter to Guana: We've just finished our 21st year here. It's amazing how much Guana has improved while seeming to stay the same. Xavier is an absolute treasure and has brought up the food level 1000%. The orchard is spectacular, as are the grounds. The staff is, as usual peerless. Guana is not for everybody but if you want to...

We just finished our first trip and it won't be the last. I second all of the other rave reviews about the natural beauty and laid back vibe of the place but add special praise for the outstanding kitchen team led by Xavier Gill, a chef who brings the passion and imagination to food that we have come to expect...

We have come to Guana Island every year without fail since we discovered it in 1995. We return each year at the same time with a group of 10-12 couples. It's a wonderful get-away, with no phones, TV, A/C; and with great food, nature, beach, staff, ...

Lodging is more in the upper part of the island, so you call and one jeep comes to take you down to the beach.

Some guests (my husband included) made it walking many times, if you want to exercise a bit

Guana Island es una isla privada.

El hotel se llama así porque toda la isla es el hotel.

Está en las Islas Vírgenes Británicas.

Hay que volar hasta Beef Island y desde ahí te van a buscar los del hotel con su barquito (a 10 minutos).

There is a bar in the main house, where you write down what you have taken.

The beach bar is beautiful but only open during beach time.
