This hotel is within the old city wall and within walking distance of all the city delights. We stayed in family room overlooking the pool. Rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable with good aircon and in a quiet location. Breakfast is good and fresh fruits, water and coffee available all day. Staff are AMAZING!!!! What a find! This hotel was not just immaculately clean, but I have never felt so welcomed. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, making some wonderful recommendations for things to do. We felt completely at home. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The pool was clean and a lovely way to cool off at the end of the day.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days. Simply wonderful. Very clean hotel. Excellent breakfast but above all very fresh products. The staff is exceptional. They helped us choose the excursions, always very well prepared and very kind! It was like feeling at home. Availability of fruit, coffee and tea as well as hot and cold water all day at reception! Super recommended!

The title says it all. In the craziness and excitement of the city, POR provides an oasis of calm and tranquility. The staff are amazing: incredibly helpful, charming and professional. It is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Highly recommend on every element.

A small boutique hotel tucked away from the craziness of the main road in old chiang mai. The staff are so friendly and hospitable and they are the ones who really made our stay wonderful. The hotel itself was small but the rooms were well laid out and cozy. It was so refreshing coming back to the hotel and having casual chats with the staff and there was always all you can eat fresh fruit, tea and coffee available from the fridge. The pool was small but clean and such a relief from the heat. The breakfast was decent but did get repetitive after two days. Would highly recommend it.

Not much to add to previous reviewes. An excellent option to stay in Chiang May. Still a few minor points to consider: 1. Hotel is located in an almost unacessible alley, so you have to walk to the street to catch a taxi. Not nice when you carry havy stuff. 2. The shower box has only one third of the length closed with a glass, meaning that every shower ends up with a fluded bathroom. 3. Breakfast is nice, but no sign of any type of cheese or a cake. 4. Cold water makes the pool almost useless. Still, recommended, especially considering the atentive staff.

I would consider POR as a true home away from home. Excellent breakfast with good variety of local and Western dishes and there are attempts to refresh some of the dishes each day to bring some variety. All dishes felt like home-made. Excellent service by the crew in giving suggestions and making us feel at home. Whenever we need help eg the mattress needed to be changed, our need is being looked into almost immediately. Same goes for our TV as we were to trying to get some of the channels working. Excellent Wi-Fi throughout. All efforts geared towards sustainability is very much appreciated eg glass bottles with bottomless refills, not only at the pantry but also on each floor. Trash is being sorted both in common areas and in our room. Location of the hotel is excellent; it is so central yet so hidden hence it is not noisy at all. One added plus point is the famous Chiang Mai Sunday Market is right at the door step! After surveying the most popular souvenir items eg elephant soft toys, elephant pants etc., the cheapest can be obtained from this very market! POR is also very close to many eateries and two of the most famous temples in the Old City is within walking distance from the hotel ie Wat Chedi Luang and Wat Phra Singh. I don't think Ive ever enjoyed breakfast more anywhere. The staff was so friendly and happy to help with anything. The street was quiet (there was an issue of a noisy bird in the mornings haha) so close to everything. so easy to get a trip out of town also. Fantastic

Good - excellent location in the heart of Chiang Mai, walkable distance to a lot of things to do. Room was clean and modern, and the shower was great. Breakfast was good too. Like lots of places in the area, they offer laundry services, which we used and we’re happy with. Could be better - light issues in the room at night. I find it hard to sleep with any light in a room, so we had to cover up the TV light, the air conditioning display and, ironically, the do not disturb button. Also, the curtain did not cover one side of the window, so we had to manually press it closed with the amenities box stacked on top of the bin.
