It was fortunate that Debbie had given travelling details when we booked to stay at Double Gates Farm! It led us quite a way through the Somerset levels to find the tranquil setting of the B and B. We were warmly greeted and, after a welcome cup of tea, were shown to our room, just across the way from the...

Satnav is essential if you're going to find this little jewel in the heart of the Somerset Levels, but my goodness is it worth it when you get here! The proprietor gave us a wonderfully friendly welcome when we arrived, offering us a free pot of tea and slice of cake each - it's little gestures like that that really...

I can only vouch for the quality of the this place as a tearoom. The food, service and decor of this establishment are excellent and the prices are reasonable. The staff are particularly helpful, and considering how few of them there are, one gets served quickly. There is ample outdoor and indoor seating and they are dog-friendly; indeed, the garden...

We are regulars at the tearoom but had friends visiting from Wales and decided to have a pre Xmas treat, we not only had an amazing tea, great value we thought but also had as usual a very friendly welcome and even a Xmas gift each. We regularly book afternoon teas and my husband has even been to The Ritz...

Thanks to Debbie, Terry and the team for being so welcoming and really looking after my wife who has to mainly use a wheelchair. Great accessible room, plenty of space, lovely views, great cake on arrival and lovely breakfasts. Will be back in warmer climes to sit by the river.

We had an amazing time here. My sister and I brought my little boy to visit longleat and cheddar and stayed at the b&b for two nights. Very friendly and welcoming family run business. Lovely to have a separate room to the house that you can come and go as you please and not be worried about disturbing over residents....
