Detailed Reviews
We had a one night gap on our schedule so we took a chance on hotel Patricia. What a great decision that was! It isn’t five star but it is very comfortable and possibly the most friendly hotels we've been to in a very long time. From the moment we were warmly greeted by the receptionist to checking out we felt very comfortable and at home.
Location – very good.
In amongst shops and restaurants and a pleasent 15 minute walk along the beach into Soto Grande. The hotel only has three parking spots but there is plenty of free parking close by on the road.
Right on the beach and has a selection of some managers and chairs there to relax on.
Rooms – basic but very comfortable.
We slept really well and got little outside noise. The bed was comfortable and you had everything you needed in there for a good stay.
I would go for one of the superior rooms if your budget allows as we had magnificent sea views and two sun loungers on it as well as the chair and table.
Wi-Fi – free for unlimited devices and good enough quality to stream video.
Food – we had breakfast included and it was really good.
Excellent coffee, good juice and a selection of bread, jam, ham and cheeses.
Staff - fantastic!
Genuinely cared about you having a good time and couldn’t do enough for you.

Very simple and basic hotel but very well located. We ordered the superior one, a little more expensive but it was worth it.
Clean, comfortable bed, room with the essentials and a large terrace and great view.
Easy access to the beach.
Very good service and providing a very pleasant stay (Lorena and the other receptionists of 10).
Cleaning and waiters also 10.
The rather simple breakfast would add more variety of fruits.
I would change shower curtains for screens (it's more hygienic)
You can bring your pet.
We will repeat.

My 2nd floor room had a patio overlooking the beach! Two big lounge chairs for napping, and a table to have my morning coffee. The rainfall shower was fabulous. The woman at the front desk could answer all my questions, gave me great suggestions, where to eat, where to shop, etc. The restaurant was quite good. To be able to walk downstairs and on to the beach was great, the bar for drinks on the beach was terrific too. A very welcoming and friendly place to stay.

You like spectacular sunrises and sunsets?, you like to hear the sea when going to sleep and awaken? - then this is the perfect place to be. I booked a spacious family apartment (living and bedroom) at a reasonable price (got 208) and everything was clean BUT there was an unbearable stench in the bedroom coming from the mattress. Although I kept the windows open day and night the stench didn't go away.
The breakfast is cheap but if you are used to a healthy diet you need to "enrich" the offered food yourself.

First of all I would give Alicia on the front desk Five Stars and a pay rise!
Alicia always smiling always helpful what a great credit she is to the hotel.
The other lady was also very smiley but I didn’t have interaction with her.
The young Russian man (sorry forgotten your name) also very pleasant.
I paid for room with balcony and it did not disappoint. The room, wardrobe were large bed very comfortable.
Balcony large but planted area along dirty dead plants it should have looked pretty which it didn’t.
I know it’s still classed as winter but nevertheless it could have looked better.
Bathroom had everything needed including very fancy shower!
The room was spotless each day so again wonderful maid service.
So these are all the positive points..
However, I feel the hotel is missing out on a lot of custom!
The first morning I was tired I forgot my breakfast voucher and it was indicated that I had to go back to my room and get it before I was given coffee. My mistake but rather petty and unwelcoming
Breakfast was poor… quarter full small bowl of bland cereal. Juices not freshly squeezed processed ham and cheese slices (brought out chilled from fridge)doughnuts bread yoghurt.
I preferred to go over the road and pay for fresh juices.
The ambiance is dated and not inviting at all.
They could add small vases of flowers tablecloths set the table etcetera. Little touches make all the difference!
One evening I realised I had no water I went downstairs around 10pm to be told bar was locked up no access to water I could go up the road and buy some!
Various people told me food isn’t great but on a positive note apparently the pizza they serve at the beach bar is very good.
However observing that their restaurant was never busy when others were consistently packed surely tells them they need to up their game.
They have simply the best position overlooking the beautiful bay and are literally sitting in a goldmine but maybe they just want to poodle along…
I wish they would invest a little and they would reap huge rewards.
Would I stay there again yes because very friendly staff, lovely room and view but I did pay a lot for this experience.

We stayed at the Hotel Patricia from May 2nd to May 8th, 2023.
We had a room in the basement (it's more sheltered from the wind) facing the sea.
This was the second time we've been to this hotel.
We skipped breakfast.
The furniture is simple but sufficient.
Good and quiet (*) starting point for the surrounding area.
(*) Sometimes in the evening you can hear the bass from one or the other beach cafe, but not always.
About 200 meters away there is the restaurant "El Trasmallo", at the front of the restaurant
there are plenty of tapas, at the back it becomes a more upscale restaurant with a view of the sea, definitely recommended.
There are enough parking spaces in the immediate vicinity.
The beds are fine, we always choose single beds so that we don't have to share a blanket.

The quality of the room in relation to the price could go up a little more. The wonderful staff, and the exceptional location. But for the price of the daily stay, they should not also charge €10 per day for the pet. Regarding the restoration, a 10

I was very satisfied with my room on the first floor, which was very clean and comfortable and with a nice bathroom. I also enjoyed liying on a deckchair on my sunny balcony, from where I had a wonderful view over the beach and the sea.
