This was our second trip to CoCo View, and it was great again. New manager has streamlined some of the resort routines to make it that much smoother for guests to get in ALL the diving they want. They have also facilitated excursions to an...More
We have stayed at a few places in the Caribbean and CoCo View has to be the best for a SCUBA diving vacation. It simply does not get any easier or better than this. The location is literally next to several major reefs and a...More
I spend a week at the resort from Dec. 4-11th. The diving was great. I did 21 dives overall, about four boat dives a day and some days shore dives to the wreck or reef.
The dive group is great. I was on boat one,...More
Excellent dive location with exceptionally easy boats to dive out of.
We stayed in a Cabana which was out over the water. In the mornings we could look down into the water and see lobster, lion fish, porcupine fish and spotted eagle rays.
The resort is set up to make diving very easy. All divers get an orientation at the beginning of the week, so you know how dive operations work and what to expect.
The dive lockers, outdoor showers and rinse tanks are next to the boat...More

There is a sliver of a beach between the main compound (Office, Dive Shop, Dining Hall and the guest rooms / bungalows) and the three rental houses... maybe 60 meters long and 10 meters wide... mostly rock with a little sand... At four to five tank dives a day, most folks barely had time for eating between the diving...
It’s a great place, we can’t wait to go back

No problem. There is a 3 minute boat ride from CCV to main island populations like Coxen Hole, west bay. CCV takes care to get you there. CCV is a self-sustained little town, really. We did the dolphin snorkel at Anthony's Key: touristy, yep, and I hated it UNTIL I GOT IN the water with these wonderful critters! A MUST if you have the time! CCV is layed out far better than Anthony's, in my view, as a diver. No need for rental car. Bring lots of cash for tips! A must!
