We loved this spot and could have easily extended our stay here. From a very easy, relaxed checkin to sleeping under mount maunganui right on the beach! What a holiday park! The location is so good, really close to the main road with the amazing shops, restaurants and bars. The walk around the mount base and summit start right from... More

This was the most expensive campsite we used when in the North Island. Office staff were efficient, the site was very hard to find as the signage was very aged. You have to carry around a key fob to access all of the facilities which got a little bit of a pain, the facilities were clean enough. We did find... More

A beautiful park right on the beach with water views. The location at the base of the Mount is fantastic. Access to plenty of restaurants and shops. Definitely worth a visit. I wish we could have stayed for longer.

Nice tidy park right on the beach. Also right at the base of the mountain. The sites for a motorhome are just plain grass sites but reasonably roomy. The camp kitchen was very clean and large but no inside tables to eat at, only outside and it was too cold to sit out there with the children. Was a nice... More

Stayed Sunday 4th September for one night. We booked a powered site for a campervan. We stayed in the Harbour side of the park and had great views of the harbor from our campervan. This park is situated at the base of Mt Maunganui and has hot pools adjoining the park. We found it a bit testing driving the campervan... More

A holiday park in a most glorious setting ... Right on the beach as the waves roll in... Didn't get any better .. The town is just glorious and main shopping and eating precinct an easy walk ... The famous hot pools are located adjacent to the park and a great treat in the winter cold ... Will definitely be... More

We stayed her or 2 nights before heading to Auckland. Enjoyed it so much we came back for a 3rd night. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Great discount given for the hot pools. We stayed on the Harbourside and had fantastic views of the ships arriving and leaving.

Stayed a night in a campervan here. Good sites as theya re all on different levels so all have a view along the front rows. Also good in winter as they are concreted so can't get stuck. Great view over the sea and up to the mT can watch all the walkers going by on the boardwalk. Showers included in... More

Super handy location with wonderful views of the Mount and the sea. Areas were clean and entry to communal areas were with a fob. Unfortunately it is very overpriced for a tent site and it is very cramped despite there being designated sites. We had no option but to choose this spot because it was so busy in the area... More
