Pros- The Island was beautiful! If you take a day trip to the island, you will not be able to appreciate of the beauty there. We stayed for 2 nights, and therefore we got to experience the true feeling of the island and the beach. We just happened to be 2 of 4 guests staying on the island at the...

We went to the restaurant twice from another island. The local food is average, cocktails are nice. Our favourite is coconut pudding. We enjoy the most is the atmosphere. Slow island life, sitting in the couch for hours, enjoy the sun or sea breeze. Staff are very friendly.

We stayed at the Manukan Island Resort for 2 nights during our honeymoon to Borneo. The accommodation was superb, with great views and access to the private section of the beach. We had just come from 5 nights of being utterly spoilt on the nearby Gaya Island Island and this was very different - much more rustic and a local...

Absolute paradise. After 32 hours of travelling we planned Manakun Island resort as our first stop for three nights, in the hope it'd relax, rejuvenate and show us what Borneo has to offer and it didn't disappoint. For an honest review from an English female travelling as part of a couple please continue to read. An easy easy boat ride...

Manukan Island was the last point of our Borneo tour and what a wonderful way to end it! The resort is the only place to stay on the island. It consists of beautiful, spacious, comfortable, air-conditioned villas with verandas and all amenities. The restaurant is nice, a bit on the expensive side but the food is really good. The beach...

Manukan Island is beautiful - but there is no getting away from the fact that during the day it is completely packed with tourists (mostly Chinese) in large groups that arrive in a constant stream of boats and fill the main beach and all the covered seating areas. After about 4pm they all leave and the Island becomes a peaceful,...

Beautiful accomodaation. Very clean, and beautifully designed. Excellent service and facilities. Even had a turndown service and left chocolates for us in the evening! And they left our aircon running for us so our room was cool when we returned in the evening! Thank you!!

We are a family of four (two little kids) who stayed here for several days in April. The setting is simply beautiful and so is the beach. The hillside villas are fabulous. It is a shame that we were outdoors all the time :) . We spent all our days on the beach and snorkeling. The staff at the hotel...
