We did a day tour, our tour guide Maricon did a great job. Her energy and disposition is commendable. BUT for the price, they could improve the package inclusion. A welcome drink wouldn't hurt. Not enough accessible toilets. When we came there was no running water in the toilet, we found out later that it's due to an ongoing maintenance...

This place is full of history. Filipino heritage is captured in a two-hour tour of their sites. Be forwarned, however, that food is not cheap in this resort. Dinner by the side of the river is one romantic experience, especially if you're on a date with a loved one. The room gives you a feel of old Filipino residences. If...

I stayed here 4 years ago and was quite delighted with the place. Yesterday, I took my brother and his wife visiting from Canada on a road trip to Bataan from Laguna. Needless to say, it was quite a long car ride, but from a historical perspective, worth it. I thought we could have a nice, relaxing lunch at Las...

This seaside resort photographs very well but the interiors and the hotel need much work. The rooms lack basic furniture like a desk, closets or even drawers. The lighting in the bathroom is unattractive and there are even exposed wires. The wall sockets are insufficient and are installed in inconvenient places. The window is shuttered so there is no view...

It's unbelievable, the amount of work, effort and money spent here. It's such a huge landmark of heritage houses saved and restored by the owner. It makes you proud of being a Filipino. The place in itself was a photograph that's indescribeable. Amazing. You get to tour around the place after the guided tour which is cool. And it's by...

Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, a heritage park that showcases the 18th century Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar is a unique place that showcases the Philippines during the 18th century. Located in Bagac, Bataan, its beautiful attractions are the mansions from the Spanish colonial era. One thing to note here is that this is a concept of a businessman ‘Gerry’...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A fine showcase of Filipino history and craftsmanship, Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan takes you back to 18th-century Philippines in the twinkling of an eye. Architectural pieces of a bygone era, from different parts of the country, were reconstructed brick by brick, plank by plank. The noble-class mansions, wooden stilt houses, and a grand main building made of stone stand proudly in a village of cobblestone streets. To add up to the ambiance, a backdrop of majestic mountains, expansive rice fields, and a running river that flows to the sea, are found in the vast property. Truly a travel destination unlike any other, this resort in Bataan is a living museum of Philippine heritage. The traditional houses as hotel accommodations are the centerpiece of this Bataan beach resort about 125 km northwest of Manila. Even so, this destination resort does not lack in providing avenues for entertainment, relaxation, and recreation. It has the Napiya Spa, a swimming pool, private beach, gaming center, 3 restaurants, conference and banquet facilities, cultural shows, and heritage tours. Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar takes pride in giving you a glimpse of the past, reliving the age-old yet distinctive Filipino traditions, while providing the luxuries and comforts of contemporary times. ... more   less
