We've been fortunate to have stayed at Gravetye on 4 or 5 occasions over recent years, mainly for New Years Eve with their excellent house party and brilliant swing band. Over the years, we've seen the standards in all directions continue to climb. Today the food, service, rooms and staff are all first class. The hotel sits in truly wonderful...

From the moment we stepped out of ther car shere perfection. The staff were faultless and made our afternoon tea a wonderful experience. The house was dressed for Christmas which added charm. The tea presented was first class from the delicious sausage rolls, sandwiches and scones. If there was one thing that could be improved on were the mini cake...

Booked one night at the manor for my husband's birthday. A beautiful old building, set in quiet countryside, you can see how this lovely house has lead a peaceful existence overlooked by the wider world. From the moment we arrived the service was impeccable. Our room, Birch, was spacious and equipped with everything we could need. We were perhaps a...

Amazing experience, entirely relaxing, great service and beautiful surroundings. I would definitely recommend staying here as a gift idea and for total relaxation. The staff are brilliant and the service impeccable. It could hardly be faulted.

Celebrated my 50th birthday with my partner and sister who was visiting from Scotland. Table booked for 8pm so we arrived at 7.30 for a drink in the bar. Was served once and then left unattended in bar for an hour. Partner went in search and we were shown to our table at 8.40 pm! No offer of another drink...

After capitalising on others bad luck, we found ourselves in the enviable position of seeing in the New Year at Gravetye. A wonderful evening. From the moment we arrived, the care we received was fantastic. The food, the service and the whole experience made for an incredibly memorable night. We had been for afternoon tea recently and, that was superb...

We decided we needed a short break after Christmas and we're delighted with our stay at Gravetye Manor. The rooms were very comfortable, the food good and the staff excellent. On arrival we had a light lunch in one of the lounges, then were shown our rooms which were a good size and comfortable. When we were settled we went...

We booked at this hotel having seen it featured on 'Master Chef The Professionals' with a Michelin Star Restaurant. We arrived in the rain but this was not an issue as an umbrella was duly provided to ensure we did not get wet as we walked in from the car. Check in was efficient and courteous and having explored our...
