Excellent food and wine at diner, nicely decorated, beautiful landscape (well treated gardens), free parking space, friendly and cosy staff/owners. They produce their own wine - we had the white wine and it was excellent.

My husband and I are just back from our two-week Italian Honeymoon and we can't say enough about Luca and Laura at Sostio a Levante! From the helpful emails back and forth before we arrived (thank you, Laura!) to the welcome pick up service at the train station, to the amazing property and even a bottle of bubbly in our...

Sostio a Levante is a wonderful place set high in the hills away from the hustle and bustle. It is not a large place, it is clean and well appointed. Lucca and Laura are friendly, generous and very helpful, always willing to answer questions. The best part is the food - freshly baked cakes every morning and incredible feasts in...

The place is a little gem. Really pretty, very quiet. I definitely recommend it. Food is good and healthy. Breakfast buffet is simple but good (suggestion to the host: I would add some eggs). As many reviews already highlight the positive sides of this place, here I add a couple of remarks that some fellow travelers might find useful: Nightlife:...

We stayed with Lucca and Laura for three blissful nights. We brought our three children (ages 7, 10 and 12) and they were not only so welcoming to them, but Laura prepared them special meals at half price. The children loved Camille and Gaston, the two sweet labs, as well as the goats and chickens. Laura's cooking and baking was...

Luca and Laura are typical fun loving Italian people. They are a wealth of information on this area just on the outskirts of Chinque Terra. Set up high on the plateau, views outstanding and surrounded by forests which can be walked. Away from the hussel and bussel of tourist area. The decore is modern, spotless and very upmarket. Linens/towels of...

It's not only value for money... it gives someone like me, who is used to living in a city, the chance to breathe life the real way. Also, the owner had done up the little place so nicely with his little touches, it's impossible not to like the place. Try it!

We had a great time, and we only wished we stayed longer. If you drive, this is a great spot to stay, as you have access to many interesting surrounding locations, while you can enjoy a relaxing time at the farmhouse. This is a family owned place, and I must say we never had as great and warm a service...

This was the most beautiful place we stayed at while touring Italy! Perched high on hilltop, overlooking spectacular mountains, this was an enchanting place to stay! The breakfast and dinner were by far the best meals we ate in Italy and we ate alot of really good food. All the meals were cooked by the owners using food from their...
