The food and hospitality was excellent, we stayed near by for one night and we were made to feel like locals. The lady that served us behind the bar could not have been friendlier. We will definitely be calling back. Thank you!

The Hare and hounds is situated at the top of a hill, quite a climb by car from Hebden Bridge, but is a great place to stay. I did not eat there, or take breakfast, though this was part of my deal. My sister stayed ther last year and told me breakfast was wonderful. The bedroom was lovely, warm and...

We stayed with our dog for a long weekend B&B but ended up eating there in the evenings too as there was plenty of choice of good pub grub and it was easier than getting in the car and driving back down to find tea in Hebdon. Five choices of lovely Timothy Taylor beer also kept us captive. Very enjoyable....

We were made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived at this wonderful inn. Jeanette & David were very obliging and knowledgeable about the area and the view from our room (room 3) was superb. Breakfast well cooked (by David) and plentiful. We used the break for a walking holiday and there was plenty of walking in the area...

I arrived late, but never too late for a pint and a chat in this friendly pub, which is also in a great location for views across the valley, particularly if you take into account their pigs snuffling around in the foreground! Breakfast was also worth a mention- an outstanding example of a proper full English. I would definitely book...

We stayed at The Hare and Hounds, as we'd come to Hebden Bridge for a gig at The Trades Club. The location is perfect and there are some superb views. It's a bit of a pain to get to from the town centre, if you don't want to drive, but there is an excellent taxi service which only costs about...

Difficult to find and we could not get in when we arrived at 1pm (before the official opening time) as the pub was shut We went back into town and returned later after the official check in time but the pub was still shut. We rang and the owners let us in. We were taken to the accommodation which is...

Nice welcome, very friendly people. Good beer, food not bad either. Room very clean, so was the en suite shower room and toilet. Room had everything we needed but it was so small there wasnt even room for a chair. Too many stairs for us, but the landlady did take our bags up which was a big help. Very cosy...

Hi Folks, We are glad you enjoyed your stay, but sorry you struggled to find us. We have now added extra road signage so that hopefully nobody else will be left in the hands of the Great God of Sat Nav..

Only booked one night to accommodate a visit to Hebden Bridge Little Theatre. Our Hare and Hounds double room was very clean and comfortable with great views and all of the staff including landlady Jeanette were friendly and helpful. We were very pleasantly surprised by the evening food menu as we were informed that there was a gluten free pie...

Almost the best vegetarian nut roast I have ever had. With full complement of mash and roast spuds, Yorkshire pud, al dent veg and lots of gravy. My husband's roast lamb had about four slices of succulent lamb piled up. Followed by jam roly poly. Pub atmosphere warm, friendly and relaxed. Great views across the moors.
