The house is very tastefully decorated in a contemperary style. Attention to detail in every aspect was evident. Especially the warm friendly welcome including home baked scones yum..., the facilities available, the excellent breakfast from fresh local produce. The entire experience was fabulous, all rooms equipped with quality sound systems and light music. The textures in the interiors and fabrics...

We had a romance package which was simply amazing. The room gets decked out with petals and candles, soft music to set the mood. The food hamper that is included in the package was simply to die for all fresh and home made to perfection. 10 out of 10... will be making it a annual event.

We arrived after a very stressful month hoping to get some time together to get away from it all and relax. It was all this and more! The rooms are beautiful and the reception you receive from Joanna and her husband is as if you were visiting family. The house rooms and gardens are truly beautiful. On there recommendation we...

Dame Barbara Cartland, that late, great, darling of good taste and gracious living would have loved Kilham Hall. I don’t know if the grande dame ever ventured into the Yorkshire Wolds. She certainly never visited Kilham Hall during the ownership of Joanne Long and her partner, David Berry, because they bought the place only a couple of years ago and...

My husband and I have just returned from a short break at Kilham Hall. Having also stayed last year, if you want a thoroughly relaxing holiday in gorgeous surroundings, this is THE place. All three bedrooms are beautifully appointed, with every small detail attended to and the bathrooms are the last word in luxury. The breakfast choice has to be...

Stayed at Kilham Hall on a trip to the East Coast. The owners are resident and are as attentive as if you were a personal friend- wine on the evening, bookings at local pubs for supper, even a lift to the pub so we could walk back! A world away from the "on the resort" experience with fabulous home cooked...

“Fairfax room if you like a four poster bed”
hughs817, 26 Oct 2013 | Read review
“Fairfax room overlooks the tennis court and fields beyond. It has foorposter bed, and one of the posts obscures view of the flatscreen TV ... so not ideal if you like to watch TV in bed. Door to the ensuite would also obstruct view of TV if left open/ajar. Ensuite has an extractor, as the window doesn't open, so expect a little steaming up when showering,”

“All the rooms are beautiful. My advice would be to do some homework on where you want to eat or take Joanne's advice. A good meal will just add to your overall experience of staying here.”
