I recently came here and i was not disappointed, from when we ordered (me, wife, 11 year old, 2 year old) we had brilliant service especially a young man, looked only 13 but helped us alot, the food was great, which i definitely recommend to anyone around here, we stayed here for 2 hours and loved it!

Terrible, peas frozen no apology from the staff. Not the friendliest of staff behind the bar, food brought to our table which was for a different table. Pie had raw pastry on base. Half the menu was not available hardly any choice. Won't be returning ...........................avoid to save your hard earned cash.

I used to take my children ( last year before a new person bought the place ) to the Blue Bell nearly every weekend, it was great for them, lots of grass to play on, inflatables to go on, great food, at good prices, BUT NOW IT IS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER VISITED WITH MY CHILDREN, DO NOT...

Thank you for your time to enter such an in depth report on The Bluebell and am indeed sorry that your children were not made to feel welcome by our guests. I can only apologise that the Bluebell isn't what it was before. Sadly what it was before didn't make any money and its former owner went under. It is...

Six families spent a week here in mid October - the hotel has been transformed into a huge and well equipped holiday home, with the highlight being the central glass-roofed atrium featuring pool tables, table tennis and air hockey. Everyone had an ensuite bedroom, towels and linen were provided, there was plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses for everyone and...

Kate, Thank you so much for your kind report. Sadly it makes a nice change in the responses I am having to make to try and explain to some of the clients impacted when we took over from a less-than scrupulous former owner. Oh the perils that lie in wait for the small business owner! We are thrilled your experience...

We booked in March, received confirmation, arrived and it was shut! Looked like it's gone bust or changed hands and they didn't bother notifying anyone who had booked. Called and emailed no response. If I could score it none I would.

Hi, I apologise for the somewhat late reply but I have only just managed to wrestle control of the trip advisor site. We took over the site from the former owner in April last year but we bought the building not the business. I know this seems a thin distinction but I am not a hotelier, I run a different...

My friend got married at the hotel in March and the hotel really went out of their way to look after her and her husband on their special day. The room was lovely for the wedding, really light and bright, and the staff were really friendly. The hotel room was clean and very comfortable with a nice bathroom. Only thing...

This is the hotel where we have stayed many times before, my daughter even had her wedding reception here - yet this trip was awful! There were no staff, the check in was abysmal - In fact following our check in we received a telephone call to ask if we still required our rooms! As per our previous stays the...

Hi Diane, I apologise for the late reply to your post but I have only just managed to get hold of control of the trip advisor account for the Bluebell. While your experience was from before we took over I would like to respond, perhaps on behalf of the staff more than anything, as they would just that day learned...

3 Adults and 2 children - we popped in here for a meal after visiting Burton Agnes Hall - we waited for a good hour, we was to sit in the pool table room which at the time was all covered up as there was no other room in the pub. Our food eventually came and all of a sudden...
