Great stay lovely hotel, and room was amazing definitely will stay here again, we stayed on a Sunday night so didn’t eat at the hotel but ate in fowey I would be interested to try the food but everything else was great.
It was a quiet peaceful location in the grounds of a fabulous old Manor House, now the hotel. High quality lodges. Great facilities in hotel pool and spa. We stayed in November and the lodge was warm and cozy.
Second time here as CLC member. The place did not disappoint. I was joined by friends in my Premium lodge and they all loved the space and amenities. Some made use of the gym and pool, and we tried both restaurants - food is to be recommended. Lots to do locally. The village has a convenience store and a butcher's. Fowey is very near with lots to see. Lost Gardens of Heligan were a treat - even in November. St Austell has supermarkets and the brewery. Megavissey has lots of little shops, nice places to eat (a couple of proper old pubs) and fresh fish on sale. I'm definitely going back and my guests are also keen to repeat the experience.
Had a lovely 5 night break in the self catering lodges with our doggy. Unfortuneatly the weather was against us but we still enjoyed Cornwall. Wyndham was a lovely place, the lodge was beautiful, warm, cosy, spacious and very comfortable. Staff at the hotel were also very friendly, greeting us with a smile and loved spoiling our collie Bella. We will definately be back in the summer months.
An excellent place to stay with delightful and helpful staff throughout and excellent meals. It is well placed to visit all nearby tourist places including Truro, small fishing villages, beaches, and for walking. There are many places to eat in the surrounding area but this is not necessary as the meals at Trenython are excellent with a choice of 2 restaurants, according to your taste.
Exceptional Room/Views/Cleanliness/Staff highly recommend Trynthon Manor. There is an excellent woodland walk in the gardens, if you don't want to go far. Pool and steam room perfect. Staff are very pleasant and obliging.
We visited in November for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Wyndham Trenython Manor Hotel. Lisa and Salim looked after us for the majority of the stay and both were very helpful and knowledgeable when asked about the history of the hotel and what to do in the surrounding area. The superior room was gorgeous and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Breakfast was also very good each day. The pool is small but adequate. Nice steam room and sauna. Everything was very clean throughout our stay. We will be back!
Travelled 30 miles to have a quiet relaxing break not far from home. We enjoyed the hotel and its surroundings/location. The Spa facilities were extremely good and we enjoyed using them. We would consider staying again sometime.
We enjoyed our recent stay at Trenython very much. It's location is perfect to explore both the north and south of Cornwall, and a quick drive to beautiful Fowey. The staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable, the lodge was clean, spacious and has everything you need and the food in both restaurants was a very good standard. The indoor pool is good and the gardens well maintained.
We loved our stay in a 2 bed lodge. It’s a lovely area and the on site woodlands are a treat for dog walking. Par beach is excellent for this as well, as is Polkerris although it’s just a small cove when the tide is in. The lodge is spacious and has all you need apart from a dishwasher. The on site restaurants are good although a little pricey, but then aren’t all on site restaurants in hotels, etc?
