Everything about MONA is tremendous and the pavilions are no exception. Well designed, beautifully appointed, private and spacious. Staying on site museum tickets are included and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Highly recommended. Not cheap though!

This was experience never to forget, have been to many museums but this one was really out there, so unusual and an eye opener, we caught the Mona Ferry from Hobart which was great and quick, even the ferry was quirky. The Museum grounds were great, there was plenty of Bars and a great area where a band was playing,...

There is very little to not like at this amazing venue. The pavilions are each individually decorated to reflect the name of the artist after whom they re named. Once you find the reception as the signage is not good the staff are very helpful in taking guests to the appropriate car space and the correct pavilion. Prior information sent...

Superb architecture & stone work, magnificent site & the 30 minute return cruise from Constitution Dock was enjoyable. The "art" was mostly different, confronting, weird to downright vulgar & pornographic in parts to some few interesting & pleasant displays. But that's just my opinion others might thoroughly enjoy the "art"

We were in Tassie for our 25th anniversary and my wife surprised me by booking our final night at Mona Pavilions. We had been to the market day which was fun and had a glimpse of the outside areas of Mona when she told me we were actually staying for a night. The Pavilions are architecturally amazing, and you really...

We stayed for three nights in the Roy Pavilion and enjoyed our time there immensely. The views from both the first and second floor balconies across the Derwent River were tranquil and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were more than adequate. Double showers, spa baths (including one on the secluded lower balcony and Aesop products for...

Just opening the door to the Esmond pavilion took my breath away. This is so, so special it is hard to put ones feelings on paper. We had just come from Saffire at Freycinet and thought nothing could surpass it, but this just blew it away. I love modern architecture and this was it with so many twists and subtle...

We are a small family, with a 5 year old boy. We did a 10 day trip through Tasmania and Mona was our last stop. I am always looking to find something special for stay and Mona is definitely special. On their website I could not find anything about a child policy. So I rang the hotel for information. The...

Our first time in Tasmania, we spent weeks researching the perfect places to stay. In the end, after reading many reviews, we decided that we simply had to include the Mona Pavilions, and we were very much looking forward to our time here. Making the most of our stay we also booked 'Posh Pit' tickets for the Mona Roma and...

Where to even begin. The glorious modern design, delicious stocked kitchen, gorgeous Aesop bath products, B&O sound system, satiny cotton sheets, mood lighting, books galore, great views, amazing staff at every turn, fantastic restaurant and... MONA. Everybody has to get to this place once... And yes, as the grand finale, a private indoor lap pool in the Aussie bush. Amazing!!!
