Gone Fishing Panama was just what we were looking for! Clean and comfortable rooms (with a good air conditioner), delicious food, great fishing, a relaxing atmosphere and all for a reasonable price. Bruce and Donna and the staff were all very friendly! At times, I felt like I was staying at a friend's vacation home rather than a hotel. We...

Hi Bruce and Donna, I have to say that Steve and I wish we were still in Boca Chica with you guys. We made it up to Bocas del Toro and have said we should have extended our stay at Gone Fishing Panama instead of heading to the Caribbean side. It is rainy here, and cold!! We had perfect weather,...

I agree with everyone on 1) how well appointed the accomdations are 2) how friendly the staff is and 3) the excellent meals. I...

Be aware that there is nothing else around you in Boca Chica and you must buy all food and drink from the lodge. However, the price is reasonable. If you goal is...

Living in Florida and being avid fishermen (wives included), we were very excited about the world-renowned big-game fishing available in the waters around Panama. As part of an extended trip to Panama, we booked a 5 night stay with 3 days of fishing at the GFPR after researching and comparison. Two other couples from home joined us for the week...

My wife and I booked a honeymoon in Panama 3 weeks prior to our departure, so needless to say our planning was a little hasty. While we were looking for accommodations in Bocas Del Toro (on the Caribbean side of Panama) we mistakenly came across the Gone Fishing Panama web site not realizing it was actually located on the Pacific...
