We stayed in the Apple cottage. It was PERFECT? Read what the others have said. I cannot add any more superlatives. Breakfast made to order.... delivered on time like 6 star room service. This place, Marion and Peter, location, view and amenities are absolutely wonderful.

We stayed a few days in mid-December at one of the Clayridge Cottages and we highly recommend it. The location is ideal for Abel Tasman, Nelson Lakes and Kahurangi National Parks. The cottage is very well-appointed, the beds are very comfortable, and the hosts - Marion and Peter - are available to be very helpful about the local area as... More

We stayed here for two nights, very convenient for access to Abel Tasman Park. The room was large, beautifully appointed and very comfortable; the view was amazing, the garden is lovely, and the hosts, Marion and Peter are extremely hospitable, gracious and kind. We enjoyed fantastic breakfasts in our room and were given great advice about boat tours to the... More

We stayed at the lovely well equipped apple cottage for three nights. Very nice views over the mountains. It's in a very good spot for visiting Abel Tasman national park. The hosts were very friendly and helped us plan our trip to the park. It's also very close to Nelson, which was another good day trip.

This place is wonderful in all respects. The rooms are large, beautifully appointed and luxuriously comfortable; the views are incredible, the garden is charming, and the hosts are welcoming, caring, giving, obliging and above all, lovely people. We enjoyed fantastic breakfasts plus many other extras warmly offered by our gracious hosts, Marion & Peter.

We had the suite in the house itself. It was completely private and very spacious - kitchenette, bathroom, dressing area, lounge and huge bedroom. We even had our own patio area to sit out. Everything was spotless and top quality. Peter and Marion were such kind and gentle hosts. Their expert knowledge of the area and helping us to plan... More
