This is a nice semi-luxurious hotel.. The large spaces and vegetation make this place a beautiful place to rest .. Though I wish front desk people were less disrespectful and patients with costumers especially with the ones that come from outside and are not familiar with national or local procedures. Specifically I 'm talking about who was identified as Ramiro...

The hotel is pretty dated, but it definitely looks like they have tried to keep it modern and clean. The room i got was big, even had a living room and a very big closet. Basic services work perfectly, and the price is pretty decent. Its own restaurant has good food and the location of the hotel is probably the...

Situated on the Zocolo, the Garcia Peral, is the best place to keep up on what is going on in this wonderful small city. The Zocolo is always"happening", the market, church, stores, laundry facicities are all close by. The cuisine at the restaurant in the hotel is delicious and authentic. The staff very friendly and accommodating. Though not modern, I will be...

On a recent road trip through Oaxaca, we stayed in Huajuapan for 2 nights at the Garcia Peral Hotel. It is a nice modern hotel with friendly and helpful staff. It is located right off the main town square and has parking across the street which was very convenient.

We stayed here on our recent motorcycle tour in Mexico. Based on previous reviews we thought this was the only viable place to stay. We took a junior suite which was very well appointed. The parking is just down the road and secure. The location is right on the Zocalo. We also ate in the restaurant which was a great...

We chose this hotel at random on the fifth day of a motorcycle tour of Mexico. It is located on the central plaza of a city with a very diverse populace. It has a great restaurant with seating overlooking the activity in the plaza. The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. The cost for a double room was very...

I have not stayed at the Hotel, but I had the opportunity to go to the restaurant during my trip to Huajuapan. I was delighted by my meal, it was absolutely delicious. I returned later for their so-advertised mole de caderas. The meat was tender and good, although I have to say I only had it to try the famous...

The decor in the rooms are a little old, but each day the room was clean and tidy. Friendly, helpful, and well-dressed staff greeted us each day. The restaurant, which faces towards the Huajuapan de León town square, has excellent menu choices, delicious food, and great service. There are certainly other hotels nearby that are less expensive, but as Americans...

Huajuapan is a regional market centre in the northen part of the Oaxacan Mixteca, removed from the fast track autopista connecting Puebla to Oaxaca. The town is pleasant, and a wonderful example of the virtues of life in a relaxed provincial Mexican city, but it isn't a major metropolis and the Garcia Peral rates as very good indeed for where...

Quite nice for rural Mexico - insect free, quite clean. Get a room on one of the lower floors, if you can, as there is no elevator, and the rooms downstairs are generally nicer. The pool area is nice, and the adjacent restaurant serves a good breakfast. The showers are heavenly for someone who has spent time living in Mexico,...
