Spent 2 days at Cliff Farm. Our hosts were very hospitable and advised us on the local pubs for dinner. The farm is centrally located between Rye and Appledore. We were delighted that Pat and Jeff were still the owners having stayed here in 2004. We took family with us and my father in law who was born in 1924...

We have just returned from a three night break at the wonderful Cliff Farm. From the moment we arrived we were treated like friends-nothing was too much trouble. The Farmhouse is situated outside the picturesque town of Rye and is at the end of a lane with two other houses nearby. It has original features and a comfortable homely feel....

I have been lucky and traveled to many places around the globe over the last 40 years yet rarely have I ever encountered such a warm and welcoming couple. They make you feel so at home and the farm is so relaxing and idyllic you just unwind and chill out. I visited with my parents who are in their 80s...

“I had room 2 overlooking the back of the farm and saw the pet sheep every morning, pheasants, rabbits and a hare all running around the hills behind the house. My parents had room 3 overlooking the marshes at the front of the house and loved the tranquility. The bathrooms and everything are clean and lovely.”
