Excellent accommodation, restaurant amazing, service very good, tho reception staff could be a bit happier/smilier. Maybe just having a bad day...Overall highly recommended and will go back again. Views from Pendle Hill are fab.

This venue's ideal for a family get-together. The event this time was a my father's 84th birthday. Good selection of food, though most of the party chose the Sunday roast, with a choice of lamb, chicken or beef brisket. The lamb was great - succulent and well presented. Only qualms being that we could have done with a bit more...

Took 2 rooms for one night. One of the rooms was in a separate building and umbrellas were thoughtfully supplied for the walk back to the pub. We were there on a wet night. The room was huge and comfortable and was as good as any four star hotel room. The only issue was noise from slamming doors particulary early...

Stayed for two nights through work ,and ate in the restaurant on both evenings . Food is excellent and had steak one evening and the stuffed chicken on the other evenings. Between the 12 of us must have tried all the starters and main courses. All very good . We mainly drank the Wainwrights beers and St Miguel draft beers....

We have just spent a fabulous time at the Craven Heifer. There were six of us celebrating a special birthday. We were given a very warm welcome on arrival with staff that couldn`t do enough for you. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean lovely bath/shower room with loads of brewing facilities. The food was a gastro experience, and after drinks and...

Stayed here on business during February. Rooms are superb. Very modern and welcoming. Cant go wrong. The staff in the hotel are absolutely fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. Dined here every night, the food is out of this world, not too expensive either. The service in the restaurant is very good and the staff are attentive and helpful....

Many thanks for another lovely stay CH. Again I chose a room above the pub as they are very pretty and no noise comes through from the restaurant below and only a little from the main road outside. After a great meal in the restaurant it's good to just ramble upstairs to bed! Thanks again - I'll be back.

Inn element is good - if you can try to get a room in the lodge rather than in the main building as rooms are larger, however found that you could hear more noise from neighbouring rooms than when in the main building. Restaurant wise - found the food on the more expensive side and slightly pretentious. Personally wholesome, hearty...
