Visiting the area for a 50th Wedding Anniversary and wanted a place to stay, close by and somewhere we could base for the weekend celebrations. I found this hotel and booked for a 3 night stay. We arrived cold, tired and hungry after a 6 hour drive and we're welcomed by a roaring fire and very friendly staff. The room...

I recently stayed at the old stone trough inn after completing our 1st leg of the Leeds to Liverpool bikeride. Unfortunately I had a fall and was taken to hospital with a back injury. The manager Gavin was fantastic. He paid for my taxi back from the hospital and let me stay in the room until my wife could pick...

This is a pleasant hotel with friendly staff. It is situated only a few miles from Colne and an ideal stop, perhaps for people who are visiting Boundary Mill and wish to find a place to eat away from the town. There is a very good value lunch menu and the food, freshly cooked, is excellent. The hotel has its...

Booked here for one night when visiting family. We had a room in one of the annexes. Really lovely sized accommodation with king size bed, bath and shower and everything very clean and well appointed. An excellent nights sleep and very comfy bed and so quiet. Breakfast was fine for me, plenty on the hot menu to choose from, but...

We only stayed one night and the hotel was fine. The rooms were clean and the staff were fine and helpful. Toilet seat was loose and the bathroom fan had a 10/15 minute run on period which was a bit annoying just as you were trying to sleep but the price was reasonable and the location was good.
