We had an excellent stay at the Kookaburra Farm. Mel and Callum were a great host, very helpful and friendly. All the animals were friendly too, especially Boy - the labrador dog whom my kids loved so much. We really enjoyed our stay at the farm.

Impressed by the amenities (ping pong table, bbq pit, animals). We love BOY, the lab. Love the view of the sky at night. Kids love the tractor ride, and feeding the animals. The Junior Farmer License is a nice thought. Heard that the property belongs to a new owner. Suggestion: improve the quality of the cabin/cottage. For $200/cabin, would be...

We brought our 3 children (aged 10, 13 & 15) to stay a night at Kookaburra Farmstay. Our cabin was cosy & well-maintained. The kids were kept busy by all the activities on the farm including roaming around feeding the animals, playing with Boy the resident labrador & even playing table-tennis & mini golf! The farm tour was loads of...

We had a brilliant three night stay in Cow cottage in July - four adults and two children. The cottage was very well equipped and the wood fire kept us cosy at night. We loved the chicken coop in our backyard, and the farm views. Our boys really enjoyed the daily afternoon farm tour with farmer callum- especially our 3...

We have just returned from a week's stay at Kookaburra with our two kids (8 and 6). Our kids have named this the top 1 best holiday ever :) We started our vacation with a weekend in Sydney and continued on to Port Stephens / Bob's Farm without really having done much research about the area, let alone the farm...

Callum and Mel have created an incredibly welcoming and fun farmstay. Our daughters are 12 and 10 and still love visiting the animals. The cabins have all that you need and at night when a number of families stay there is a middle space to bbq, toast marshmallows, play table tennis and just commune. The animals are beautifully looked after...

We stayed here for a weekend during the winter with my 2.5 year old. The cottage was clean and was surrounded by nature and animals. We collected fresh eggs in the morning, fed the goats in the backyard and made a stroll through the farm to the horses, lamas, ducks, gees and baby cow. They offer a tour around the...

The weather was overcast with on and off drizzling rain, but that did not spoil our stay at all! More puddles for my grandaughter to test out her new pink gum boots. Plenty of gum boots for anyone to borrow on the cabin decks. Lots of animals to pat and feed, eggs to collect, the tractor ride was a highlight...

What a fantastic weekend! We stayed in the group of four cabins with three other families. The cabins are small and basic but are clean and very cosy. We are a family of five however didn't feel cramped as we only went inside to sleep! There is a brilliant covered area which we used as our base and has a...
