Clean room, friendly and helpful staff. Location is convenient to all attractions, walk to beach for sunset and walk to many restaurants. Was there in summer and winter would be good with ski lift right up the street, think they said they had shuttle service

Cosy and personalised, it felt more like a bed and breakfast. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff and only a short stroll from the lake and the shops. The lake nearby isn't that pretty. Drive to emerald bay for the amazing views! Well worth it!

We have stayed at the Alder Inn several times and find its location and excellent service good. Good accommodations. Comfortable beds, accesses to bikes. Within walking distance to the beach and access to the sternwheeler (right now the lake is low so you have to go to Zepher Cove).

We stayed here for 3 nights and it lived up to its place as nr 3 on tripadvisor. We have a great room with a great bed and it gave us everything that we wanted. Next visit to lake tahoe we want to stay here again.

I stayed at the Alder Inn with my friend and from the moment we got there we felt very welcomed. Aly and Chris were so helpful and friendly. The room was very well decorated and clean and had everything we needed. The location was also great, we were able to walk to the marina and to nearby restaurantes. I would...

Okay, I will join the chorus and sing along with another rave review. This place was just perfect for us. The staff, all of them, were great. We loved the free bikes..took a short ride to prove how out of shape we are. The location is perfect, a block off the noisy main drag but still close to the best...

Very nice little hotel with a lot of nice touches. Plenty of extra coffee in the lobby, instant oatmeal if you need. Friendly staff that will go out of their way to help. Free bikes from the hotel. It's a pretty easy walk to the casinos, shopping, and the gondola. I'd really recommend this place.

The staff at Alder Inn are super friendly and helpful. I like that they were able to accommodate our very late check in. The room was clean and the Keurig coffee maker was a bonus. The hot chocolate, oatmeal, and granola bars at the office were just what we needed to get our day started or grab a snack in...

This is my third stay at this hotel and I love how each room is decorated differently. They are clean, comfortable and all have the home away from home amenities . We always use the pool and Jacuzzi, but this stay we got to use the bbq and picnic table and everyone one had a great time. The only problem...
