Hands down, this is the greatest campground I have ever stayed in while camping in Canada and the USA. The bathrooms are so clean, you feel like you need to wipe your feet before you walk inside. The cabins are perfect, even for a family with adult children. The campsites are spacious, and the tent sites are pretty amazing too.... More

Best campground in PEI! We knew this was going to be good when as soon as we stepped in the office our very friendly host Marlene offered us freshly baked biscuits that were delicious. Very beautiful wooded campground with lots of privacy and impeccably clean everywhere showing great Pride of ownership. We stayed in one of the cabins which was... More

Excellent Campground on the lovely Prince Edward Island. Campground owners were friendly and helpful. We got lost on our way in and the came to get us. If you are planning a trip to this area, I would highly recommend it.

This is one of the best, cleanest and well run Campground we have ever stayed. Marlene and Les are just great people! You may not know them when you arrive but when you leave it's like you have know them a lifetime. Great facilities with nice private feeling sites.

We drove all the way from NYC to meet friends from Montréal in PEI. It was a long way to go for a fun camping experience, but it totally delivered on all fronts. We stayed for three nights (though I wish it had been more like a full week), and we were so happy with everything from start to finish.... More

Positives: We recently stayed several nights and were very happy with this campground. The on-site owners take great care of the property and the guests and truly want you to have a great stay. They offer cabins and camp sites in this small park. The washrooms were very clean and spacious. There also is a camper's lounge with wood burning... More

While travelling across Canada from Alberta we stopped into this Campground. It is absolutely the best, cleanest and well run Campground we have ever stayed in. The Owners are so nice and helpful. They live on site and are there to help or Educate any time needed. My only complaint is that they don't have one back in Alberta.

We only camped at two campgrounds during our visit to PEI so I can not say for certain it is the best on the island but it was the best in our 3 weeks of camping (7 campgrounds in all). Marlene and Les are 'hands on' owners and the grounds and the facilities are well maintained. The site was level... More

This is our second trip to New Glasgow Highlands campground. Yes, we like it that much we returned. Our first visit was when our kids were 10 and 8 and now they are teenagers. Coming back 7 years after our first visit did not disappoint! It was just as we remembered it! We even got to stay in the same... More

Thanks so much for your kind words and for appreciating what we work so hard to deliver. Clean and quiet is very important to us and so nice that the second time here you enjoyed just as much. Campers like yourselves make our jobs so easy. Thanks for staying with us and hopefully we will see you again. More

Very well maintained, nice surroundings. However not geared up for little kids as the atmosphere and rules are extremely tame. I would say 5 stars for older families, 2 for ones with kids under 8. For example, jumping in the pool from the side is forbidden and monitored by webcam from the head office and they will come to stop... More

Thanks for your comments. We like hearing from everyone. Our pool is a swimming pool so we do ask everyone not to jump or dive. It makes for a much safer pool and it allows everyone to swim and enjoy the pool not just those who want to jump. More and more people comment on how nice and quiet everything... More
