Wow, what an experience. We stayed in the top room in the tower and were not disappointed. We were initially thinking that the room would be cold, but it was not. The bed was comfortable, but you do have to walk the stairs to get...More

Thank you so much for this really special review, Ross Castle is indeed a special place and we are so happy you found us!
I first went to Ross in August 2016 and had an amazing experience....Jackie and Richard are amazing hosts and it felt like back in time experience - no hassle, no porters, no rush of a hotel...very relaxing. I arrived back again just this weekend and...More
I love the room that has been added to castle. I loved the roast duck dinner at the castle. I look forward to my next stay in October. Every trip I make back to the castle amazed how much I enjoy my stays.
Ross Castle is known to be the most haunted Castle in Ireland. I've stayed here many times and the only thing I've experienced is comfort and a warm welcome. Vanessa and Jackie are wonderful! Everything for our stay was perfect, even the home cooked dinner,...More

For our group of 7 we had the three tower rooms. Each room has a full or queen bed and then there are also cots available that they can set up in the top room. I'm sure you can book on the weekends. I would just add that the stairs for the rooms in the tower are steep and spiraled and so wouldn't be good for someone who has trouble going up and down stairs. However, there are also a few rooms on the ground level that you could book instead. I would suggest you reach out to Ross B&B directly. There is contact information on the website.
