This lively place was perfect for our workshop it was a pity the weather was not kinder but it did not diminish the enjoyment. A great place for both groups and for couples for a romantic time away. The mixture of a secluded yurt, secluded garden places and private rooms in the main building all lovely and the most fantastic...

We spent 10 days in room "Bodega" at Villa Amatista in December 2015. The property and its gardens are lovely, its location is central, perfect to visit the island. The owner's employees are nice, BUT there is no service, lack of maintenance and comfort in our room (we paid 90 euros per night) 1. the bed is not comfortable, the...

My Wife and I, rented a beautiful apartment for one week, very clean, absolutely quiet and peaceful. We got a tour of the different houses and they all have a special charm, you can see that the very helpful owner and the alway smiling stuff are treating the Villa like their baby. The location is very central on the Island,...

Villa Ametista is a very quiet relaxed place in a beautiful green garden. Lovely small pool, nice rooms and very clean. Good kitchen too with everything you need. We enjoyed the yogaclass in the morning and we did some surfing in Famara. You need a car and then you can reach everything very easily because it is in the middle...

Quiet place in the middle of the island, 1/2 hour drive to the most amazing locations... just what we were looking for. We stayed in Tinache and enjoyed its layout: half indoors, half outdoors. Local geckos visiting at night and friendly dogs were a plus :) Definitely recommended! Iria

Lanzarote is an amazing place. Coming from London the tranquillity and space of this enchanted island is palpable. I felt I could relax and breathe in this calming environment from the off. Villa Amatista perfectly reflects all that is good about Lanzarote. We deliberately chose Villa Amatista as it reflected a more alternative environmentally friendly option and it did not...

We had a lovely time staying in Tinache, good central location to get around the whole island for daytrips. Great being able to do breakfast and dinner at home and spend long days driving round sightseeing, walking, beaches, FOOD! Sadie the yoga goddess was lovely, looked after us the whole time. Near to Famara and Timanfaya, but doable 30 minute...

A relaxing and peaceful place, surrounded by dramatic volcanic scenery and a short driving distance from everywhere on the island. Excellent morning yoga sessions with the lovely Sadie were a great start to the day - this is a special place to escape to, especially to leave the cold English winter behind!

We have just returned from a weeks stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it could not have been more perfect. We are a couple from London in our 30s. We stayed in 'Tamia' one of the rooms attached to the main house with our own terrace and huge windows out to the pool and gardens. We have travelled a...

See which rooms travellers prefer

“The rooms in the garden are the quietest. We prefer the Bodega simply because it has a mezzanine bedroom and the floors are timber. Even the rooms within the main house are very private. 'Tamia' has a huge shower/bathroom that I wish was in the Bodega, although that too is very serviceable.”
