This is not a cheap hotel, and so one's expectations are correspondingly high. But the hotel manages to meet or exceed even the most demanding of requirements. The welcome is warm and personal, the service is excellent, the rooms are extremely comfortable and the food is wonderful and fully deserving of all its accolades. My one comment is that the...

I have reviewed Llangoed Hall before and didn't think it could get any better, but it has. This visit we stayed with friends and they were wowed by the opulence and grandeur, whilst simultaneously feeling relaxed and informal. The food is amazing, impeccably presented, tasty and flawless, served discreetly by well trained staff, on exquisite china and beautiful glassware. Looking...

The food was amazing. I am allergic to fish and shellfish and I was more than happy with the way they catered for me at short notice. The tour of the grounds was very interesting and informative. Well worth the trip.

We were given a one night stay at this hotel as a gift. What a lovely place to stay. The room was immaculately clean, well equipped and really comfortable. Staff friendly, food superb, we will return.

Visited for Sunday lunch. Great value at £20 for two courses. Absolutely delicious. Fantastic value. A few glasses of wine and coffee for two soon takes the bill with service to around £100 but we loved the food and the setting and we will contemplate staying in the hotel during the summer

This weekend I experienced a glorious night away at llangoed hall. It was always somewhere where I wanted to go, its such an impressive house and I finally took the plunge. I had booked 2 state deluxe rooms directly through the hotel and dinner that night. I enjoyed this luxurious night away with my mother and sister. We wanted the...

We came after Christmas and we were delighted. The hotel is old, country house style, very comfortable and not too chi-chi. The chef is unbelievable- dinner was better than most expensive London restaurants-absolutely stupendous ( and we are very particular). Country walks by the river are lovely. Staff are in need of training ( no one asked us to pay...

Llangoed Hall is a beautiful Edwardian country house, in a lovely location. It's furnished very, very well, classic country house style, lots of antiques, luxury fabrics, squishy sofas, soft lighting, good pictures, all of high quality, which makes for a lovely atmosphere on a cold day, especially with fires lit. Service was very attentive throughout. Our room was large with...

The Hall is surrounded by beautiful well maintained gardens, it has a very 'oldy worldy' feel to it and has character in abundance. Our room was described as 'Petite' but it was more than large enough for my wife and I. There are plenty of thank you letters up on the walls showing who has stayed in the past, all...
