My husband and I recently spent a night at the hotel. Whilst there were some positive points to our stay (cleanliness of the hotel in general, friendly waiting staff) there were also some negative points which we were not expecting- we were not given the class of room we reserved (as confirmed by email), there was no complimentary sherry in... Three of us stopped for a coffee on our way to the RWS Winter Fair. Our waiter served us promptly, bringing a pot of coffee and lovely cups and saucers plus a small jug of hot milk. However the coffee pot was far from full, barely enough for 3 cups. No complimentary biscuits. The bill was £15 plus a discretionary... More

Had a very enjoyable night away at Llangoed Hall. OK the rather nice crisp but sunny weather certainly helped but the hotel itself is set in a stunning setting, the dining room, hallways and drawing rooms are beautifully furnished and very impressive and the staff and service were top notch. The view from our room was fabulous and it was... More

We had a 2 night Classic Welsh Getaway and we're delighted with our first impression on arrival. Our bedroom (12) was spacious, the bathroom exceptional and glorious views over the gardens. The sherry decanter and complimentary water was a welcome addition. We were surprised to discover there was no bar but as butler service was provided this caused no concerns.... More

Dear Val R , Delighted to see that you enjoyed your stay , but don't feel you can recommend the Hall to your friends and Family - that's a shame . We do actually have a couple of bottles of wine under the £30.00 mark one at £25 & the other £27.50 . I'm sorry you felt that those prices... More

This is a beautiful Welsh country hall. Every thing here is opulent and a step up from anywhere else I have stayed. The grounds and views are exquisite. I would like to take my wife here on our wedding night. It really is a special place. Everyone is geared towards first class service. From Mr & Mrs to Master of... More

Stayed 12 & 13 November in our lovely room. Couple of observations which have been passed on but nothing to spoil the wonderful room. Immaculately clean as was the bathroom, hugh towels and bath and separate shower. Lounge is very comfy and relaxing - great when the fire is lit, but as it was quite mild this was only once... More

This place is beautiful. It was perfect for a wedding reception. The room we had was very large, a four poster bed, the bathroom was massive. Our view was looking out at the countryside. The breakfast was very varied and could not fault the service, very friendly and polite. The wedding breakfast and evening meal was great fun. This hotel... More

This was our third visit to Llangoed. It is undeniably expensive but when they run special deals it is well worth the price. The staff are always welcoming and the food delicious.
