We stayed for 2 nights in a 4 bed bungalow with a group. We were the only guests in the bungalows. We were warned not to take our valuables to the beach as there had been reported robberies. When we went out for dinner we left some of our cash in the bungalow and locked it. When we came back...

Checked into my private room, 20 minutes later there are two rats that have run through from the open wooden slats of the ceiling, running all around my room and onto my bed. Went straight to reception and told them, showed them the video as I had filmed it for proof, they laughed and said there are rats everywhere. I...

Stayed here over the Xmas period. The bugalow was up on the hill so very quite, even at night, far enough away from the bar area. The bungalows are wooden and therefore, rather basic in a rustic sort of way, the bathroom lacked a sink and get used to cold showers, the room was clean and we were asked every...

The bungalow was ok. I catched one with an actual sea view (Nr.9) but since I booked it online in advance for NYE it was 70USD/night. The owner was rather unfriendly and I always felt like disturbing him. The wifi did not work at all. Think this was a rip off.

Stayed here for 2 nights in November 2015. Paid $30 for the bungalows, which are located up the hill from the beach, which helps cut out some of the noise at night. All the bungalows have 2 queen beds and are relatively large compared to other places we've stayed in SE Asia. Hammock and 2 chairs were on the balcony....

It's not even one minute walk when I arrived the island. Very convenient. Nice sea view from the room. I got up to see sunrise from room in the morning. No hot water. But as it was very warm in December, I can survive with cold shower. Wifi is limited.

Accom in Koh Rong is either poor quality or very over-priced, but Island Palace is neither (if you come at the right time.) After a rough night at Bongs, I scoured the village, and turned up this gem -right opposite the main jetty, and central to all eateries, beach, and nightlife. $15 (in Sept-October) bought us 2 big very clean...

We found this place on arrival and after seeing the room and then haggling the price down we thought it would be ok for just one night. The room is fine, the bathroom is one of the worst we've had in South East Asia. No sink and it wasn't cleaned before we arrived. Dogs howling outside our room all night....
