Delicious lunch - lamb kaiings with fresh farm bread and ice cold beer. Beautifully new lapa area and revamped shop. Fresh and clean toilet facilities. Very friendly staff. Thank you much appreciated and welcomed stop on our way from Vaalpark to Cape Town.

Meets the purpose. Friendly staff. Location next to the N12 so no wasted time diverting ... some traffic noise but most cottages are set back from the road. Well stocked farmstall. Take away dinner available. Braai facilities to cook your own.

A well self-catering rest-over for the long distance traveler on the N12; more or less halfway between Pretoria/Johannesburg and Cape Town. Small adequate family chalets giving you privacy as well as everything you will need to relax. There is a restaurant on the premises if you wish have a nice breakfast and/or dinner and the farmstall will tickle your fancy...

If you travel on the N12 to the Cape province or back please take time to visit this gem in the Karoo. To stay over night or just to get something to eat. Very friendly people. The rooms got everything you need to rest out after a long road trip. The food in the restaurant is great. Wide open space...

Clearly well managed and maintained Kambro offers neat clean and spacious overnight cottages. The shop caters for the local community and is hence well stocked. Our host was helpful and directed us to the wonderful and vast swimming pool for an essential cool down. Lovely oasis.

6 well thought-off campspots in between chalets. We loved the grassy spots with our own braai, electricity, potable and non-potable water, the clean ablution, the stars above us, the massive swimming pool and the local food on offer in the farmstall.

We were hot and tired after a long dive when we arrived at the farmstall which looked cool and inviting. Unfortunately, we were quite rudely informed that our small dog is not welcome in the restaurant area. This is the owner's prerogative, but it would have been so much better to offer us some hospitality on the garden tables under...

Welcome Pitstop in the middle of no-where! Try their delicious homemade springbok pies. The restaurant and toilets are kept beautifully clean. Service is fast and efficient. There are also spots under the trees if you just want to stretch your legs

We were pleasantly surprised to discover Kambro padstall and restaurant. We had a lovely lunch and enjoyed the array of high quality, original goods offered in the shop. Quite enjoyed the humorous signs. We will definitely be back. Fantastic!!
