What an oasis in the middle of the Katie we wish that we could have stayed longer but now we are looking forward to come back again to enjoy the great hospitality this place is offering. The restaurant is also offering tasteful food. And the pool is big enough to do some laps

I was an overnight visitor, and was glad to be away from the trucks on the main road! Excellent place, but did not use restaurant facilities. Was too tired and left at 5 again. One suggestion: shower floor was extremely slippery; some attention will be appreciated. Will stay again.

A constant buzzing noise in the room made sleep impossible. When I mentioned this to the manager the next morning he said it came from the solar geyser and they were planning to move it. If the management were aware of this problem they had no right letting out the room! Food was disappointing. Lamb stew was 50% fat and...

We stumbled across this lodge on a stop over between Joburg and Plett and were very pleasantly surprised! Middleburg itself is not the kind of place you would normally linger in as it's a bit grimey with nothing to do or see, however Celtis Country Lodge was a little oasis. The garden is lovely with a pool and restaurant adjoining...

A pleasant quiet lodge in your way to the Cape or PE. The lamb tjops at the restaurant was superb. We arrived late Sunday and could still enjoy dinner. Appreciate the well kept garden with the beautiful pear trees.

We had a convenient and pleasant stopover travelling home from the coast to Gauteng. The food was good and staff pleasant and helpful. Secure parking on the property is a plus and we found Celtis Lodge easily.

If you ever happen to need to stay over in Middelburg, this is literally the only place that you should go to. I say this because Middelburg itself is a real dump, and we were only to happy to find a place where you really do not need to leave the confines of the lodge. The restaurant is of a...
