I was really looking forward to our stay here. We were in Vancouver for medical and this hotel is quite near children's hospital. The pool online looked great for kids and boasted "splashy family adventure", they have family rooms and many dining options. Upon arrival to our room we couldn't find any information about the resort, but we did find a very dirty floor with hairpins and debris, clearly had not been vacuumed. Although, it was nicely decorated and had a great bathroom. Where is the pool? How do we get across the sky bridge? Where are the restaurants? I called the front desk and no one answered. I thought maybe there might be a resort map by the elevator, there wasn't. So I made my way back to the lobby and asked at the desk. They had no resort maps in the lobby and continued to tell me to take the elevator up to level 4, walk across the bridge, turn right, take that elevator down to level 2, turn right, turn right again, and then left and then right and then you will find the pool on the left. Lucky I had a good memory. Pool was very dirty. Bandaids floating everywhere, dirty towels, plants were all fake and looked like they hadn't been dusted in years. Went to find dinner. Asked again at the desk where all the restaurants were. You need to walk through the casino to the food court - the children are not allowed access. We ordered room service, which was not worth the $110. We won't be back.

A casino is a casino. Nothing really jumps out to make this place stand out. Other than an expensive Buffett (fifty buck$) the food options are limited. They say they have multiple restaurants but really there are a few food kiosks in the casino and the Buffett upstairs. They do ha e a showroom but it for special occasions otherwise there is not much fr entertainment. We actually just went to bed early. I expected more or something out of the ordinary.

Mostly great. Once again the elevator to get to the pool is broken. Many steps otherwise. Poor planning as a sloping grade rather than steps would be more beneficial from the main level. Staff are great especially at R-Bar - Thanks again Miko and Innishanna.. Also May at Absolute Spa. Very appreciated reasonable price upgrade to main hotel.. Rock house restaurant mixed. Utterly tasteless burger, yet bun and condiments fresh. Breakfast sandwich very good as was shrimp vermicelli at Chopsticks.. curve restaurant now closed but some menu items are in a room near the upstairs buffet..

We needed a hotel close to the airport and this one fit the bill. The room was large and I was told I was upgraded at check-in. Check-in took a while as there was only one person on staff. When we arrived at the room we noticed it was very chilly and very dated. We bumped up the temp and found extra blankets in the room as it was already late. Mentioned on check out about the room temp, he didn't seem to care much and said if you called we could have sent extra blankets. Not even an apology. Will be the last time we stay there after a few not so great experiences.

This hotel is filled with surly disgruntled employees. They charge a resort fee and most of the amenities are closed. The room was clean but the decor is tired. The resort fee was not disclosed at time of booking. All and all a mediocre experience.

Where do I start? We stayed at the casino. The room was a suite but it’s dated and needs upgrades (decor, bathroom, seriously noisy couch). The room was not particularly clean. Long black hairs in two places in the bathroom, Major dust in the bathroom vent and surfaces throughout that had coffee and sticky stains on it. The bedside table had a solidified milky coloured substance on the side near my face. Gross. Room service was reasonably priced and prompt. The casino surprised me. This is the very first casino where alcohol drinks are not offered while gambling and the bar prices are ridiculous. No thanks, Never again.

Great hotel with tons of upscale amenities. Ultra comfy & cozy beds & accomodations. Staff really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is pool not heated & alarm went off at 2am for about 20 minutes with loud announcements to evacuate. We did not & it was false alarm. I understand it was not their fault & they did give us a $30 room service voucher to make up for it. We did feel a credit towards the room would have been more appropriate especially since we were checking out.

Terrible Customer service all around. Front desk was rude and impossible to reach. No towels at pool. No service at pool whatsoever. Outdated rooms. We stayed in penthouse 1171 which needs serious upgrades. Old dirty Carpet, chipped furniture and holes in walls. No Bar service to the room. Hard to reach for any services. No decent room service food. Staff is rude at all level of service. Most disappointing hotel I have stayed in for years. So many options around. Stay elsewhere period.

We stayed one night on our way back home to Australia. My parents were upgraded to the penthouse suite - such a great way to end the holiday. Rooms were clean and excellent bedding. We had to check out and spend the day in hotel waiting for our midnight flight and the resort let us use facilities and store our many suitcases great service from the one bell boy on duty - would have loved to stay longer the Asian markets a walk away were great also.

We stayed here for a night on the way home at the end of a vacation. We arrived at YVR fairly late in the evening, but it was a quick and easy trip from the airport to the hotel on the sky train. The sky train / bus exchange is right beside the hotel. Our check in was handled efficiently and our room was clean and comfortable. There was some noise from other guests in the hall which kept us awake for a bit, but things got quiet by midnight and we had a good sleep. For our morning coffee, it was convenient to have Starbucks right off the lobby. We also had a good breakfast at one of the restaurants (Curve) in the hotel. After breakfast we hopped on the transit bus right by the hotel to get out to the ferry terminal to catch our ferry back to Victoria. This hotel is in a perfect location for those needing a place with easy transit access to the airport and/ or ferry. Rooms are nice, and it is handy to have a Starbucks and a good restaurant on the property.
