Over the Christmas break we booked this place for a one night stopover in North Van. We, however, did not realize this was an adult only facility, so when we showed up with our infant Brian, the owner, regrettably had to cancel our reservation.
A return visit to Thistledown House, with new Innkeepers since our last time. Rex and Ruth have retired and Brian and Virginia have taken on the mantle of providing excellent service.

We stayed in the ...Apple Tree room and we did not see a kettle - for tea I assume? There is a small wet bar in the common area with a fridge, drinks, sink and a microwave where you could fix tea if you don't mind using a microwave to heat the water. Having said that, I would send the ThistleDown House an email directly with your request and I'm sure they will be glad to tell you if your need could be accommodated. They were extremely helpful with all of our requests.
