Rain or shine, the ThistleDown House was an oasis. Lovely rooms, and absolutely fabulous breakfasts, but also perfect hospitality. Very helpful advice on where to go (and what to eat), good cheer and conversation, balanced with privacy and and opportunities for quiet relaxation.

We stayed in the ...Apple Tree room and we did not see a kettle - for tea I assume? There is a small wet bar in the common area with a fridge, drinks, sink and a microwave where you could fix tea if you don't mind using a microwave to heat the water. Having said that, I would send the ThistleDown House an email directly with your request and I'm sure they will be glad to tell you if your need could be accommodated. They were extremely helpful with all of our requests.
