As others have said this BnB is just the best. Alice and Jack make you feel as though you are family, with a morning hug- never had that at a hotel of any quality . The variety of breakfast was just delicious. To view the night and day skies with Jack was just amazing. Even tho we had quite a...

My wife and I and our 5 month old had a great weekend stay here. Jack and Alice are great hosts and the B&B is well run. We had a really enjoyable, comfy and cozy stay as we spent our afternoons wine touring. And of course the daily and nightly sessions looking out into the universe in the observatory are...

We were warmly welcomed by Jack and Alice for 3 nights in their very beautiful and comfortable “Eclipse” suite. It was a fantastic experience. Unusual for Osoyoos, the first two nights were cloudy, but no worries, for the first night Jack put on a 3D movie on his 10 foot screen featuring space walks and the repairs to the Hubble...

Located on a mountain with a breathtaking view over Osoyoos, our stay with Jack and Alice was truly memorable. The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast delicious and the sky watching was wonderful. We lucked out with clear skies so enjoyed both a night time and a morning session in the dome. Jack is amazing: knowledgeable without being overbearing,...

We have been trying to stay at this B&B for quite some time, but our schedule and their availability never seemed to mesh until now. We were so happy to have finally been able to stay for 1 night. We were anxious to have the opportunity to go up to Jack's observatory and see the stars! Jack speaks so knowledgeably...

A friend had raved about this place, so we just had to see for ourselves. It was somewhat disappointing that the date we chose nine months ago turned out to be completely cloudy, but we still had a wonderful experience watching a 3-D movie about the onsite Hubble repairs, in Jack's marvelous theater. Jack gave us so much information, my...

I really cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay with Jack and Alice. We were celebrating my husband's 40th birthday, and they opened their home to us so readily! We were given an upgrade because we were staying so long, and we arrived to a bottle of champagne in the room. We had such an amazing time in the...

Where can you get a stunning view, a comfortable room, a gourmet breakfast, genuine, warm hospitality, a stargazing experience with lecture by a passionate hobby astronomer all wrapped into one at a reasonable rate? Jack and Alice Newton's Observatory B&B is such a place. In the evening we enjoyed a spectacular sunset, sitting on our patio, overlooking the valley below....
