We spent 4 nights in tepee 1 in mid September. Neither my partner or myself are campers & we were a bit worried prior to arriving how we would manage but we were more than pleasantly surprised! The location of the tepee was idyllic on the banks of the Athabasca river I can't even describe how beautiful it is there....

We found this wonderful gem by chance several years ago and have made it a destination ever since. Mary and Carol are so welcoming and made us feel like family since the first visit. We started out in the Brown Cabin and soon after, considered it 'ours'. We have also camped in a teepee just for the fun of it...

Of all the overpriced places to stay in Jasper National Park, why wouldn't anyone opt for this little gem just outside of the park in Hinton instead. With all the best intentions of exploring the park, in the end, we did nothing but drive through the park than settle in for 2 days of bliss at the Old Entrance Cabins...

Me and my boyfriend spent 2 night in the teepee#1 while we were traveling in Jasper, a little far drive from jasper but the worth it, we also did the trail ride, it was great. They have share washroom and shower for you, camping style that you don't need to pack the tent, we brought our own bedding tho but...

The peaceful sound of the river, the friendly owners and guests and the beautiful scenic views made me forget about the crazy daily grind of work, bills, and traffic. I regained some much needed strength and mental health so I can continue moving forward in this crazy thing called life. Thank you Carol and Mary!!! Your place is outstanding!!!

We rented the brown cabin for 5 days and loved every minute of it! We had a year old with us and it was a perfect place for him as well. There were lots of places around to go hiking and exploring right on or near the property, so we were always out and about having fun. The cabin itself...

Everything about Old Entrance left us looking forward to our next visit. I don't know where to begin. The property has this amazingly relaxing ambiance, from the rolling hills and dusty roads to the soft sounds of the river below. The horses whinnying in the background, or grazing right beside you. Everything about the area says "take it easy and...

We absolutely loved our stay in the Brown Cabin at Old Entrance, and we will be back. Our hosts, Mary and Carol, are wonderful people: kind, welcoming, generous. And such animal-lovers, too! What a treat to get to our cabin and see a ginger cat, named Gimpy and such a love, curled up on a chair, only to turn around...

This time around we only went has a family and rented the room in the main building. We had access to fire pits and firewood, unfortunately we were...
