Convenient if you have business to or from the airport. Does have a pool, Bar which is not functional, A pool 3-5ft, A computer with printer there is also have a shuttle for transfer to the airport. Rooms were clean but the hallways looks like needs vacuuming. Receptionist on our check in was moody and on our checkout was lively.

Great hotel for the one night before we flew the next morning. 15 minutes to walk to airport if you wanted but courtesy bus available otherwise which leaves on the hour and half the hour. Room was spacious and had everything we needed. We ate dinner over the road at the Sheraton which was reasonable and delicious

Overall very nice. Clean and well lit room. Bathroom was nicely sized as well. Near airport so convenient short drive. Very modern style. Good place to stay near airport but nothing else near it. I would return if back in Montreal. Pool table in lobby was nice

I spent two nights at this hotel that is close enough to walk to from the terminal if you want to stretch your legs or don't feel like taking the shuttle bus. The shuttles do run at the top and bottom of the hour. You meet them outside door 8 on the departures level. If you've stay in one Aloft before, this one won't surprise you. The staff is friendly from check-on to the person behind the bar if you stop by for a nightcap. Yes, you will hear some aircraft departing at night, but I think for most people it'll be like white noise. The nights I stayed there plane were taking off toward the hotel. The menu is limited, but the beds are comfortable and bathrooms are spacious. One nit I would pick is if you turn on the light in the bathroom at night it does light where the bed is because of a large frosted glass panel separating the two spaces. The laundry was $4 CDN for wash & dry. There is a Sheraton across the road you need a more full service restaurant.

Hotel has a free 24 hour shuttle from door 8. Runs every 30 minutes. It is also within walking distance from the airport. Very quiet, especially for an airport hotel. Great dark blinds. Very welcoming associates. Hotel is very clean. Modern property.

We had a 12 hour layover in Montreal so we pre-booked a room here. The hotel is not really fancy but that doesn't mean it isn't good. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and we were not disturbed by noise outside the room. The air conditioning worked well. The staff at the front desk were polite, kind and helpful. Check out took 30 seconds, literally. The hotel runs an airport shuttle on the hour and on the half-hour. Very convenient. The driver ensured we knew where to go once he dropped us off at the airport. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at the hotel for two nights, 1 with a puppy. The room was nice, modern. Parking costs $25 per night, not included in my room rate. Animal/pet is $75 extra. Only thing missing was somewhere to hold toiletries in the shower, I put them on the floor tile which wasn’t a problem. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Didn’t have the time to use the pool or eat breakfast at the hotel but both seemed nice.

Very good hotel close to airport. Would definitely return. Pros - amazing staff that are very customer focused (kuddos to the manager and training given) - this is a major differentiator - good gym that has descent equipment - whilst no restaurant or room service, basic food options available next to lobby - shuttle every 30 min to airport (with excellent driver that is also client focused) - good treatment of Ambassador and BonVoy status traveller’s - very good wifi - relatively new hotel Cons - no room service - no hot breakfast - pool has no sauna

The aloft hotel at Montréal Airport should be considered a hotel of last resort. If you have any choice, I would not stay here. The hotel itself, from the outside, looks OK. Once you get inside, you realize that it has no amenities. The restaurant is closed, the bar is closed. All that is available is a grab and go type of Facility. The staff are not very clued in. I had to explain to them that the phone number for the shuttle bus on the Aloft/Bonvoy app is in fact wrong, and they really didn’t seem too concerned by it. What I also found to be quite ridiculous was that for a one night stay in a hotel with no restaurant, no bar, they held $250 as a potential incidentals charge. Where the heck would you spend that?? The rooms are not very inspiring. I am not sure what the design theme is supposed to be, however, it should never be acceptable that your wardrobe and your coffee making facilities are in close proximity to your lavatory. It verges on being quite disgusting. It is not clear, but I think the concept of aloft is to feel like a loft type apartment. If that’s the case, you would never want to live in a loft type apartment. This is not a pleasant experience for even one night. If you are a Marriott frequent guest, like I am, I would recommend going to any of a number of other places, including the Sheraton, the Courtyard, or the Residence Inn.

Do yourself a favor and avoid booking this hotel at all costs. It seems as though they are at this again - I read some reviews during the Covid-19 pandemic that they would abruptly cancel reservations without making any arrangements for the impacted traveler. They have done this again - received an email March 21st advising me that they were going to cancel my reservation (16 days before arrival) as the hotel was closing due to "Government Requisition". This means that the hotel sales staff secured a more lucrative contract to rent out the entire hotel and the casualty is evidently to leave a few hundred guests high and dry. If you booked months out, rebooking at another property means that you will now be paying a lot more for a room at a nearby hotel. They have done absolutely nothing to make arrangements for the guests who had reservations cancelled - minimal effort, very poor!
