This is an absolutely gorgeous property, the rooms are larger than average and very nicely designed with a couple of caveats. We had a two queen room, there was room for a small sitting area and the room had a fridge and a Illy coffee machine. I was kinda of excited to try Illy, turns out it's a similar set up to Nespresso but ridiculously complicated to use! The bathroom was really nice with a large walk-in shower but has the now popular design of glass to the the sleeping area. So whenever anyone gets up to use the bathroom at night they are definitely going to wake everyone up! I liked the property enough that I'd return but the bathroom design bears mentioning. We had access to the club lounge, unfortunately they don't serve hot food on Weekends (why? This is clearly a property that's popular 7 days a week!). But the lounge was still great with some innovative snacks on offer, such as cans of nuts! The hotel is attached directly to the terminal and it was about five minute walk from the lobby to our domestic departure check in. Beautiful pool area too! I've never flown out of YUL before and was surprised by how relatively compact it is. It was only a couple of minutes to walk from where we dropped off our rental car to the check-in of the hotel. Great property!

We had stayed here before as it is just one floor above the US Check-in kiosks. Arriving by train is easy as there is a shuttle from the train station to the terminal. Great location, very good restaurant (Bistro) where we recommend their onion soup. The room is very nice with good bed and all the standard amenities. The wardrobe is minuscule but adequate for an overnight before or after a flight.

Waiting in lobby area for family who had delayed flight. Planning to have dinner in Marriot hotel restaurant when we connected. Extremely rude worker said we couldn’t sit to wait and kicked us out. We were shocked and disappointed. We have spent a ton of money at the Marriott chain over the years and that is how they treat customers.

In most places in the world, having a hotel directly attached to the airport terminal costs moderately more than hotels which require a shuttle bus and Marriott YUL airport is no different. In a climate like in Montreal, this has clear value especially in the winter. In the summer I would not be naturally inclined to pay a lot more for this convenience but for the dates of our stay the extra required for Marriott was modest so we booked a night there. I was upgraded as Marriott Ambassador Elite to a nice and bright corner suite with great views of the runway and aircraft traffic. Our daughter loved to watch airplanes taking off in front of our room. I was a bit surprised that the windows were not double glazed so it could be a bit loud for people who want to sleep early. The room was in good condition and is a step above any other hotel I have stayed near YUL airport before: Sheraton, Aloft, DoubleTree, Fairfield Inn, Courtyard, Hilton Garden Inn, Crowne Plaza, and some others. Marriott costs more than all these hotels but in my experience the extra is worth it because it's simply a better hotel all-around so I can recommend it.

Very nice airport hotel. Attached to the terminal. Easy access from the rental car center and very close to US airlines checkin desks. Got upgraded to a beautiful suite. Lots of windows overlooking the runways. Decent concierge lounge. Very comfortable bed. Some plane noise, but not bad. From hotel through checkin, security and US Customs in about 25 minutes.

Although this is a premium price property, I still feel we got excellent value considering we had an extremely early morning flight, and we had our bicycles in boxes. We got a bit of an early check-in and front desk staff securely stored our bicycles. Our room was beautiful, very sound-proof and the bed was very comfortable. Even though a very cold winter day, we were able to have a nice walk through the terminal before dinner. This in-terminal Marriott and the one at Calgary airport are both top quality properties. I would return to this hotel in a heart-beat!

Incredible hotel experience right inside the terminal building. I dropped off my rental car, crossed to the terminal, walked about 4 minutes, took an elevator up two floors and checked in. Leuri at the desk was quite pleasant; he helped me several times during my stay, going out of his way to assist me. They should clone him and put him in every Marriott. I got an upgrade due to Bonvoy status and the room was perfect. Club breakfast was great, Club concierge Dimitri was everywhere making sure people got what they needed. Restaurant and bar were relaxing and the food was excellent. One negative - the place is expensive for an airport hotel. I stayed with a free night certificate. But I heard a woman in line, a walk up with a cancelled flight, get quoted $450 for one night. At an airport? Next AM, check out, elevator down two floors, three minute walk to the airline check-in. Can’t beat it!

Early flight (6 am) so decided to stay here the night before. Room 839 was huge and lovely, excellent air conditioning, floor to ceiling window with a large sofa to enjoy watching planes landing and taking off. Appreciated the environmentally friendly in-shower amenities to avoid the waste if little plastic bottles and little bars of soap. Very comfortable bed. Excellent sound proofing. Very nice staff and executive lounge (enjoyed the chocolate dessert). The convenience to check in cannot be beat!

We live in Ottawa but most sunny vacation flights go direct from Montreal. With a young family, convenience is everything! This was the third time we stayed here and probably our smoothest dealing with Montreal Airport yet! We had booked the room and parking combination rate and we’re thrilled there was actually HOTEL parking available this time! (In the past we have been given a parking pass to use in the airport lot. Not QUITE as convenient as the heated, quick access hotel lot. Our room was clean and comfortable as usual. The kids loved watching the planes take off and despite this we heard no noise in the night. We checked out online early (4:30am) and had a hassle free elevator ride down to the terminal. I think my only complaint is how hard it is to drag a suitcase across their carpets! It’s honestly the only hotel I struggle with! Haha Though maybe those carpets are responsible for the quiet sleep we always get!

Room Tip: If you plan on parking for the week, get the room & parking combination rate. Way less expensive...

We used this hotel for one night before a vacation, and one night upon our return. Parking was $45 per night, but had we booked that online would have been $22 per night, and there was no way for staff to change our rate at the counter, which felt like a cash-grab. Room service was not fancy, but got us fed, so that was good. Our bags were lost so we asked if there was anything they had to offer in the way of toiletries and were excited that they had some - and they were free! However the toothbrushes disintegrated in our mouths. I would have happily paid for one that didn't. The weekend brunch was nice, though empty. Staff seemed happy/kind when we were at the desk but when we called up to the hotel upon our arrival to let them know that the elevator from the parking to the hotel was broken and a number of guests were in the parking garage without a way up (both elevators were broken), we were told that we would have to stay on the line to speak to airport maintenance, which just seemed like something the hotel staff could have been taking care of given that the elevators are the ones that lead from their parking to their lobby. All in all, it was a very expensive stay for the value offered.
