Enjoyed our week at the resort very much. Yes there is a massive difference between the new and older cabins but it is the area, amenities, grounds and lake that make this place special. Recommend management getting some SUP's for guest use.

Blue Water Acres has a large lovely beach and swimming area on Lake of Bays, with sufficient canoes and kayaks for all residents. The vacation site is an ideal mix of efficiency and relaxation; good, unobtrusive service, with the guests being left to their own fun. Sergio's review is quite right. The only downside we experienced was that the wifi...

Blue Water Acres is located in a lovely spot on the Lake of Bays.We stayed in one of the new cottages. The pictures on teh website did not make it any justice. We were positively surprised to find that we had 2 bathrooms, a massive open plan kitchen/diningroom/sitting room/, washing machine and dryer, satellite TV and DVD players, lovely porch...

Blue water acres is better than average. The cabin was clean but tired looking and could do with a refresh. The site was lovely and facilities good. Would go back again anytime. Staff were helpful. Well situated close to Huntsville and close to main routes.

We came during off season, so it wasn't very busy. If travelling here in the spring, rain boots are a must! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Cottages were clean and functional. Highlight for my kids was the deer on our front lawn and listening to the wolf/coyotes howl at night. Great family resort!

Here with some family and feel relaxed. There's a nice swimming pool and game room for the kids. A nice and quiet getaway. Would recommend it for a peaceful vacation in beautiful muskoka. Also we've seen plenty of deers right by our cabin.

A recent trip to this resort has blown me away. First, the booking was made over the phone and it took less than what it normally takes over the internet. A very friendly lady confirmed it and we were all set in no time. A welcoming staff received us and we were given two x two bed cottages (were definitely...

This was the worst experience my family and I have ever had. This was our first time in Muskoka and our Canada Day long weekend vacation started out poorly. When we got to Blue Water Acres, we had the shocking surprise of having a decaying dead animal in our bed. Yes you heard that correctly, a decaying head animal in...

I am sorry this unfortunate incident happened on your first trip to Muskoka. The cottage had been inspected earlier that day and the cottage had been occupied a few days earlier with no complaints. I can only speculate that a screen door was left open and a chipmunk entered and got into the bed. When you came into the office...

The cottages are new, with flat screens and leather couches, the "muskoka room" (screened in porch) was amazing, sitting out there early in the morning or late at night was always relaxing. The grounds are pretty rough and tumble, the indoor pool was a nice touch for sure. The WIFI worked well too! We would return.
