Stayed last evening and enjoyed this house immensely.(Nov 7) This home circa 1800's is a beautiful piece of history from days gone. It is beautifuly restored and sitting in the living room you couldn't help but sit and daydream about the grandeur of parties that once were. The rooms were well appointed and had everything you needed, the bed was...

"The twain shall meet" in this brilliantly decorated home where one can relax surrounded by the charm of the 1800's while enjoying the modern conveniences of to-day. Every room and meal was a masterpiece of creativity which truly reflected the warmth of our host. I felt the lazy hazy days of summer while relaxing on the front porch surrounded by...

We visited the Mackechnie House for a 1 night stay while passing through Cobourg. The House was built in 1840 and definitely retains its original charm and beauty. The old wood doors, high ceilings, huge windows and large rooms make us feel like we were living the privileged life in the 19th century. Our innkeeper was charming, and our breakfast...

Cathryn's house is spacious and beautifully decorated. The rooms are large and beds are very comfortable. Being in a quiet neighbourhood by the lake, it's a perfect place to get away from large cities to relax yourself. Cathryn is a gracious and caring host, easy to talk to. We enjoyed our stay there very much. 非常值得推荐!房间宽大舒适,环境幽静,主人优雅有礼。距离湖畔步行三分钟,距离镇中心商业区开车不超过十分钟,非常方便。是我个人在加拿大两周期间最满意的一处住宿。

The bed and breakfast is in a big old home with interesting decor. The breakfast was great. My artist wife loved our room. We found a large festival was going on in the morning and enjoyed the art and craft shops and live music.

Lovely historic home, with a wonderful private and serene back garden. Gourmet breakfast that beats all other B & B we have experienced. Cathryn was a very gracious host, and she made a lovely picnic which we thoroughly enjoyed on the beach.
