We stayed here for one night before we took the Newfoundland ferry. We showed up a little later than we thought we would, so we had to call for check-in, but it still happened very quickly. We had a very nice chat with the owner when she showed us around. The room was clean, and the bathroom was quite large....

Four adults slept in a spacious two queen bed room and it worked great! The hostess had wonderful restaurant suggestions within walking distance from the bed and breakfast. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was great! Highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

The hostess was very helpful right from the start of the reservation. I phoned her to ask about a ground level room as my dad has issues with stairs. She assured me that it was available. Upon arrival, it was a quick check-in process and then into the room with 2 double beds and a TV with cable. The ensuite...

The location was ideal for catching the ferry to Newfoundland. The accommodations were modest but very clean and comfortable. Our hostess, Heather, went out of her way to make us comfortable and helped us immensely in the planning of our itinerary.

We found the Harbourfront Bed & Breakfast Inn very easy to find. It was an excellent location for us as we were catching the ferry to Newfoundland and this B&B is only minutes from the ferry terminal. The owner was very friendly and quite helpful with directions and suggestions for places to eat. The room was very comfortable and quiet....

The room was clean, comfortable bed and good selection of pillows. The bathroom was spotless and very newly renovated (nice big walk in shower) with adequate toileteries and towels. The inn keeper is accomodating and very friendly and made us a good breakfast before heading out. The inn is an old building so don't expect much privacy, we could hear...

I stayed at this BandB for 4 nights in early October for work. It is a great spot for business people. The room was beautiful, and very clean. The host was a delight and breakfast was very good every morning. I will stay here again when travelling to Cape Breton as it is well kept, good price and nice and...

I originally booked my stay purely on location - I wanted good access as a foot passenger on the ferry across to Newfoundland. The price was attractive too. A well run Bed & Breakfast will make you feel at home, and Heather who runs the Harbourfront B&B certainly does that ! The place was clean, cosy and quiet. There are...

Stayed here on the Thanksgiving weekend 2015 as it was a central location for attending the Celtic Colours Festival. Close to highways, but quiet. Rooms were comfortable and clean and breakfasts excellent. Special account was taken of our daughters lactose intolerance which was appreciated. Would also be very convenient for those taking the ferry to Newfoundland, and unlike other reviewers...

My wife and I stayed three nights using it as a base for day trips. It is centrally located to Ft. Louisbourg, Baddeck and the Cabot Trail. The room was clean and comfy. Breakfast varied each day and was very good. There was an issue one night with outside traffic noise so we had to close the windows which solved...
