Very personable managers at check in and on the phone. No issues with anything. The rooms are older but have been updated. New beds and bedding. Smaller rooms with a microwave and refrigerator. It's tight but functional. The room faced the highway which was a little noisy so would try for a room in the back if it's available. Nice...

Greetings LLHH thank you for your imput, it is always apreciated. I thank you for the heads up on the door seals. As you pointed out this is a little older building, but we try to give it a little TLC each day to keep things current and clean. I will recheck all our doors and seals so this is...

Standard Greek food which is fresh and tasty. Sunday lunch a must. Also does Pitza's thin crust which are to die for. Very friendly Greek owner who loves to chat. Very friendly locals always willing to help out. All in all a wonderful stop along the way when passing through.

Good check in experience. I was here because I needed a place to sleep for the night and this was very convenient. Safe parking and reasonably quiet, considering it was right off the highway. Nice little restaurant attached, that served a good basic range of meals. The server we had was exceptional. The place was definitely clean and the WiFi...

We were passing through Princeton for first time, having no idea where to stay for an overnight. The Sandman looked reasonable and we were pleasantly surprised. Beds were comfortable, staff very friendly, there is a restaurant beside the hotel which was very handy for breakfast.

We arrived at midnight on a very rainy night. Woke the manager up and he greeted us with a smile. What a nice man. Good prices. Average room. Great breakfast at the attached restaurant. Comfortable bed. A typical Sandman. But, again, I can't say enough about how the Manager's smile so late at night after being awoken, made my day...

Staff here is quite friendly and accomodating, rooms are basic, clean however the whole hotel is due for renovating and paint. Being right on the side go the highway access is good however try to get a room on the backside to keep the noise down.

Thank you for your review. I agree with you about the renovating. It is a constant process with the older hotel. Currently we have a contractor replacing all our railings, and then painting the out side of the hotel in the spring. It is always helpful to know that even though we continually work to maintain our building, there is...

The room on the ground floor was tiny and dark. The single window faced the parking lot and beyond that to the road. Despite highway adjacency, it was quiet. The bed seemed small but it was comfortable and the linens were clean. The air conditioner cycled on and off and when off there was no air in the room at...

On Sept. 9th, 2015, we again stopped over at the Inn to celebrate my wife's birthday the following day (10th). We stayed in room 220 and as usual it was excellent, clean and comfortable. We had dinner at the Heartland (attached) and left the next day to continue our short trip from Vancouver, BC. We recommend this Inn and restaurant...

We checked in late in the evening and got the last room. The price was reasonable and the front desk guy was very pleasant. Our room was comfortable and clean and we appreciated that there were lots of pillows! All in all a great hotel for a rest-stop on a long road trip!

This is my second review of the Sandman, and I'm writing it because we still like this place, plus the front desk clerk gave us a great upgrade when we arrived too early to get into the room reserved for us.
