This park is under new ownership, and being completely redone with electrical, sewers and water hookups. It is not yet opened, there have been many delays. As of right now it’s a messy dirt pit that they are attempting to spruce up. They have taken all kinds of prepaid bookings and cancelled reservations on various people because of construction delays. This has left many with vacation plans derailed.
After jacking up the price and requiring you to prepaid in full with all kinds of fancy promises to come to the campground there is nothing but major disappointment thus far.

I just got back from a week here with my family. we stayed here last year for 3 nights and had a good time. it rained 5 out of 7 days (not their fault) new bathrooms at the river with washing station was a nice new touch since last year. now for the bad, the woman (I think she's the owner) at the front desk, was so incredibly rude! she accused my kids of "not having enough money" to buy stuff at the store, I told them twice about a HUGE wasps nest right above our site twice and other patrons said they had told them earlier in the month. the woman said o one had told her about......but I had 5 day before she said that???!!!!! my son was stung twice and she didn't even have the manners to apologize. Also, very overpriced. We paid nearly $400 for the week......too much for tenting! Safe for kids, river is nice, pool is cold, showers and bathrooms and pretty decent.

Packed campsite. The spot we got had no shade. There was no alternative so we asked to get the money back (nearly 60 dollars) but this was not an option. Unfriendly staff that spoke Korean, with customers in front of them. Poor wifi that only works close to reception desk.

Showers cost 1 dollar for 4 minutes. Lots of better, cheaper spots around here. Don't go here if you don't have to.

Nice river.

I took my 8 year old grandson and a 19 year special needs girl there last weekend. We packed up our site and we're out of it on time. We stopped for one last quick swim before leaving. The kids had many been in the pool 5 mins when the owner came out and ordered us out of there, it was past check out time. I said ok but maybe because I didn't immediately jump up he made things uncomfortable ( putting it mildly) for everyone. The kids got out of the pool but were quite upset and confused as to why the man talked to me like that and why was he so rude. I went up to the office to leave a note re - why the rudeness and how upsetting it was for the 3 of us. I was met by another very rude women presumably his wife. They cater to families but these people did not seem very family like to me.I won't be returning.

Jeez, where should I start here. I camped here 12 years ago and it was great. Well kept and clean. Now, what a sh@thole! They charge 5 bucks a kid over 6. So pushing 60 bucks I think sure they must have a lot to offer. So I ask where our site is, down there she says. A dirt road across from the trailers. So we park our trailer and I’m thinking is this even the campground ?? So we get set up and I come across a dead mouse, then another. Wtf? Put the mat down, oh wait I will just pick up the garbage and dogpoop too. Then our company arrives right beside us with a puppy. They get unpacked. Go to the office and pay an outrageous amount as well. Puppy is tied up to the trailer steps so she doesn’t get into anything. But of course she finds a pile of dogpoop to eat. Ok I guess I’m going to do site cleanup down to the end because clearly no one else does. Come back from cleaning up to discover she had found another mouse. So off to the office I go. I talk to the women who is aware there is a mice problem which they have dealt with because they spray poison on the ground. So let me wrap my head around this , we pay you people to stay here with the rodents and dogpoop problem, I do your job cleaning up too ???? Do you think I’m happy that our kids are running around in rodent poison and our animals are snacking on all sorts of things. I’m not happy one bit, in fact I left early because I felt frustration building and all I wanted to do was go in that office and explode on you people !!!!! The place was packed like a can of sardines, very dirty and dog poop everywhere. Even all over the river bank. Certainly a place I would never recommend to anyone and will definitely be letting people know !!! Grow some balls and manage your campground 😡

Just had a fun summer at Parrys RV campsite. Great fun place for kids to just be kids. Lots of room for bike riding , swimming at the river and the pool. Five minute drive to the beach and all the shops, great location.

The poor campground is a beautiful property run by the wrooooong people. They pretented that my kids were above 6 years old and charged me for them both over 45$ extra. When I went back in to see why my bill was so high the lady was trying to blame me saying she asked me before if my kids were 6 and under but she never did. Also I never got an email confirmation even after calling twice about it. The washroom was always very dirty, blood on the floor etc... also the pool was very very dirty. You couldnt see the bottom of it. I have never been treated and lied to this way ever before

I am blown away by the sheer ignorance of the owners I have worked in tourism for fifteen years and never have I ever been treated or spoken to a person the way we were literally just treated. My sister is staying here for a week and my 5 year old daughter was playing with her cousins she sat beside the pool with her feet in the water as the pool was to cold. the owner came in and was watching us then she waited till walked over to the site and started screaming at us about paying for the cost of a five year old putting her toes in the water and visiting with her cousins she completely went off the handle screaming in front of 6 children all under the age of 10 clearly no one has thought this woman manors. Her own husband walked away as even he knew she had gone to far. I suggest staying anywhere but here

My boyfriend and I had never been here before but we payed for 3 nights as it was a long weekend. We arrived 30 min early and they charged us 10.00. 4 people next to us came in early in the evening that partied all night and were still when we packed up and left at 7:30 am. I went in to have some of my money reimbursed because of this and there was no way I was getting any money back. They did not seem concerned about the issue either. They change the price of ice whenever they feel like it as well. The lady owner runs around getting peoples licence plate numbers to charge people if you don't stop in at the front when you arrive. All these people care about is money and not the paying customers. I would not recommend this campground. Very poor management!

This park was advertised as family oriented park and with amenities. There was only two toilets per men/women with only one toilet working for the woment. No change table for mothers with babies in the bathroom. Pool was very dirty and not heated as advertised.
Our 3 yr old daughter became violently ill after swimming in the pool, resulting in us having to leave after only one night of two paid booked nights and our Child being admitted to hospital. Owners refused to refund anything in addition even charged us 10 dollars extra for arriving two hours early to empty camp site. This family oriented campsite had excessive public drinking and Pot smoking. Not an appropriate environment for children. I WILL NEVER GO AGAIN OR RECCOMEND TO ANYONE.

"some sites have more shade and privacy than others, but i am not familiar enough with the campground (only stayed here 3 times) to make specific suggestions. This is resort-type camping so you cannot expect to have a secluded spot."
