Stayed five nights and had five excellent breakfasts. Each different from the previous and all delicious. Maya gave excellent advice on where to eat and let us experience what Nelson is all about. Enjoy

We had an awesome time visiting Nelson and I will most definitely come back to Maya and the Casa del Soul. Very nice place and lots to do here. Will HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who wants a B&B with reasonable prices.

Visited with my daughter for a wedding. She was wonderful with both of us (me: tired, overworked, introverted, middle-aged mom of 4 year old), daughter: energetic, opinionated, extroverted, garrulous, 4 years old. We flew in, and were planning on busing out - easier said than done. I wont forget Maya graciously printing out my bus ticket in the required 15...

Maya is a very warm and colourful person and her home shows it. The place is clean and in good condition but there is a lot of small stuff around. So if you’re travelling with young kids this would probably not be your best option. Our first morning it rained but not to worry; Maya gave a complimentary arts class...

We did a long winding road trip through BC, and this might very well have been the highlight of the trip! (full disclosure - we arrived on my birthday so it made my day extra special) While Nelson itself is beautiful, and Casa's accommodations lovely, what is truly fantastic is Maya's hospitality and generosity in giving us a free painting...

My husband and I stayed here with our 11 month old daughter visiting family in town. Maya bent over backwards to make us feel at home. Nothing was any trouble. Plenty of space to hang out and read a book in peace and quiet or sit and chat over breakfast. Would highly recommend and would love to come back!

Had a lovely stay at the Casa del Soul in Nelson. Great location that's near enough to the town centre for a lovely walk and far enough away that it's nice and quiet. The rooms are a little small but the beds are comfortable and there's a lovely view of Bob (the Big Orange Bridge) and the lake from the...

My husband and I stayed with Maya for two nights. We fell in love with both the Casa Del Soul and with Maya. Both are welcoming, creative, and colorful. The Casa is within easy walking distance of downtown Nelson, but in a nice quiet neighborhood. The house and our room was very comfortable and clean. Maya cooked us the most...

Bed and Breakfast - I stayed for 3 nights. It was great! The host, Maya, was super friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was unbelievable - granola, homemade waffles, eggs from a friend's chicken; super yummy. Most highly recommend. Maya conducts art classes for guests but we went skiing instead. Whitewater ski resort is 10...

Hi - I stayed with Maya for two nights this past summer and really enjoyed being there. Maya is a most welcoming host, making room for me even though she was booked. rooms are basic but her place and grounds are a delight, full of creativity and colour, and easy to get absorbed as if in a museum. There is...
