We chose this for the second time and were once more not dissapointed. Everything was exactly as we remembered. A warm welcome and a cosy cabin, with a porch with a lovely view. It was all we wanted. The only things we heard were the sound of nature and an occasional train whistle far, far away.

The location of the property is gorgeous, and the cabins are spacious and comfortable. The full kitchen was well stocked and allowed us to make our own meals, which is great since it's quite a ways away from Golden. It's dark and quiet, which is perfect for a good night's sleep. Due to bad weather, it was a bit cold...

Be one with nature... this is how we advertise and this is why guests choose our place. TV and phones are not in the cabins for that reason. Not all cell phones work out here, only telus. The heaters are connected to a wood burning boiler (central heat) and work only in the winter months, that is why we have...

My boyfriend and I just stayed here for two nights for our anniversary. We absolutely ADORED our stay here. The owners are just so lovely, and the property is stunning. The cabins themselves are extremely gorgeous and cozy. All the wood for the fireplace is set up on the deck so you can use it. We will most definitely be...

Had a great family reunion with seven adults and a baby. There was lots of room for all of us in this four bedroom lodge. Showers were small. Fireplace/ stove was very inviting. The owner was very friendly. The property was large and quiet. About half an hour from Kicking Horse.

I cannot comment on the Blaeberry Lodge facility itself since I did not have the opportunity to stay there. I did, however, make a booking online with them and had a TERRIBLE experience. I booked a room for my family through Expedia which I then had to cancel less than 24 hrs later. I visited their website before booking which...

we are very new partners with Expedia and also had to get used to their rules and policies. Since we can not apply our own cancellation policy of 20 days on their site (like we do on booking.com), we were suggested from Expedia to use the 50% deposit as non refundable since guests can cancel their reservation even until one...

We were just passing through golden and only stayed a night in this fantastic mountain getaway. It's so serene and peaceful....it beats any hotel! We were travelling with two small kids and they loved it. We went to say hi to the horses. Explored the pond. It was a delight. The owner was very accommodating and there was nothing we...

We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The cabins are really charming and private. Renate and Rainer have created a little paradise here in the rockies. A plus is that they speak German too. We would definitely come again!

It's hard to say whether the scenery or the accommodations are the best thing about Blaeberry Mountain Lodge. Certainly, the setting is awesome, with lots of trees and mountain vistas. The mountains are panoramic, but not oppressive. There's plenty of open space on both the property and in the cabins. Sitting on the front deck of the cottage with a...

We stayed here for 9 nights in July/August. We found the location ideal and the setting peaceful with wonderful views. Our hosts were extremely helpful and advised us on walks and places to go that were less touristy and away from the crowds. The cabin was cosy and met our needs. Although it was fairly basic it suited us fine...

“We stayed in the lodge. Another couple was also in the lodge with us. Four rooms, 2 bathrooms, joint kitchen. It would be a great place for a group to book and share the lodge. There are also beautiful cabins if you want a quiet romantic place to yourself. Would be a fantasist place for an intimate wedding!”
