My girlfriend and I arrived with no-one else around except for a rather tired looking guy in his mid-late 60s wandering around the porch in a t-shirt and braces. After a brief conversation it turns out he'd arrived on his trike just before us and was waiting for someone to appear at reception. All of a sudden I hear banjos...

I had the privilege of staying at the Beaverfoot Lodge in one of the covered wagons and it was amazing! The view of the mountains, the sounds of wildlife and the beautiful fall colours brought peace and serenity to my weekend. The staff was amazing and did everything they could to make my stay enjoyable.

Stayed in the Pioneer Wagons with friends. We had a great time, a little cold in the fall bring lots of blankets, it is the Rockies after all. The food was great, unbelievable views, wild and free is how I would describe this remarkable place.

I think one has to keep in mind this is a rustic off grid lodge, and not a five star resort. I hosted almost 70 people for a retreat here and although there were hiccups that arose, the lodge staff were truly trying their best to make it an amazing experience for us. It wasnt perfect, but I left feeling...

I really enjoyed my stay at this off the grid hidden gem. The scenery is amazing and it is such a peaceful place. The lodge is step back in time with many original features. My room was clean, warm and comfortable. My bed was comfy with a plush down comforter and pillows & a unique handcrafted log bed frames. The...

I was so excited to go to beaverfoot lodge this September long weekend to watch my cousin get married. They rented out the entire grounds for their wedding and it was planned to be quite the party, which it was. It is just unfortunate that the management and workers did absolutely nothing to make it a good experience. Clint (the...

Please read the reviews before booking! I regretted not doing so. I booked two wagons for myself and three friends because I like the idea of camping with a slight difference but this is just something else! The surroundings are actually breathtaking but that is the only positive. Upon arrival I felt awkward when checking in as the guy just...

I booked a wagon with 2 twin beds months in advance of our arrival. Upon arrival, the guy was rude and didn't really care that he had me down for a double bed, making things extremely awkward between me and my male friend. When I went to say something, he called me a complainer. When opening the door to our...

Upon arrival at the beaverfoot lodge the manager asked us to go and look at the covered wagons before we checked in- which we did. The cabins were dirty, with stained bedding, of the 2 showers only one was working and was a horrible mess so we asked not to stay there. We were instead accommodated in the house which...

Great concept, but very run down and bathrooms disgraceful! it was 6 degrees at night with one thin cotton blanket. We slept with our clothes on. Where was the down comforter? You need to be warned to bring your own food as you can only get a wood fired pizza for the princely sum of $20. They had no idea,...
