My wife and I stayed here in September and had a wonderful time. Great location on the mountainside; the room had a huge deck with a spectacular view of the valley. There was a huge spa tub in the bathroom which shared that view! Each room in the lodge is slightly different, and when the room we were initially shown...

The team at Winston's lodge were great- nothing was too much trouble. The beer and food in the pub was delicious and the option of dining in Corks restaurant was nice. Our room was clean and a good size. We also took advantage of a massage in the on-site spa. A great start to our break! 5*

The amazing staff, attention to detail, massage and dinners at the Corks restaurant made the Winston Lodge the most enjoyable of the places we stayed for our vacation in B.C. and Alberta. Amy, Carla and Jemma were supreme in their attentiveness and making sure we had all we needed. Chef Halliday's meals were so DELICIOUS. They always included a beautiful...

A short walk from the Kicking Horse Resort we headed there as it was the only thing open at 4pm! Was a great choice as the kids (1 & 3) were warmly accommodated. Beers and cocktails went down well. Didn't intend staying for tea but time got away from us so we ordered pizzas, ribs and burgers. Greatly surprised with...

Lovely place and rooms are big, great view but poorly equipped/bare e.g no mirror, only one bed side table, tiny TVs, a balcony but no table just chairs etc (lovely bathrobes tho!). Room 1 is very noisy! There is a rustic charm but everythng feels like a work in progress by a young and slightly inexperienced team e.g Breakfast was...

Booked Winston Lodge for an overnight stay in Golden, as much for its classic lodge look as for the strong TA ratings. It is a substantial drive up the mountain and away from Golden but the location is great as long as one doesn't need to go back and forth to the town. The Lodge is beautiful as promised. The...

The lodge is beautiful in scenic surroundings.Very quiet when we arrived but became busier as the day went on.Manager only here on a temporary basis but helpful and friendly. Room cosy and rustic and ideal for a get away from it all.Meal at the lodge was good and waitress very attentive.

Spacious, comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Lovely large cosy lounge. Has a pub adjoining it so you can eat there. It is a small intimate lodge. While there go to the restaurant at the top of ski lift, which is just up the road, for an enjoyable lunch, and great views.

Hi, thank you for your feedback and pleased you enjoyed your brief stay with us. The restaurant you talk of at the top of the mountain is, Eagle Eye. It is the highest restaurant in North America and one of the many attractions here at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Dave Woodman

I ate there as I was staying next door. Pizza too thick for me, but otherwise was good. The breakfast (included with room) was good. This place fills up in summer as it must be one of few places to eat.
