This Lodge and the owners were an unexpected pleasure. Doris and Norbert were very gracious and welcoming hosts. We only stayed for one night but it was truly memorable. We received helpful information on places to visit in the area. The food was excellent - typical German cuisine, schnitzel, red cabbage, potato/carrot patties. The servings were plentiful, so much so,...

We couldn't have imagined what an amazing experience we were in store for when we booked our stay at the Glenogle Mountain Lodge and Spa, but were we ever in for a treat. The hardworking, dedicated couple who runs the lodge welcomed us like family and made us feel very much at home. We had a spacious, comfortable room with...

We have never stayed at a "lodge" before but thought it would be more like a hotel not more like a bed and breakfast. We arrived to a very warm very quick check in. We were told that they were sold out so she was sorry but she had to give us a room downstairs (there was only 3 other...

My husband and I stayed at Glenogle for a break in our cross-country journey and it was the highlight of our trip so far. We were warmly welcomed by Doris and Norbert who treated us as family for the entire time we were there, and fed us with homemade goodies including Doris's amazing oatmeal pancakes! The lodge is extremely comfortable,...

Recently my wife, two daughters and myself had a wonderful meal at Glenoggle lodge to celebrate my wife's birthday. We are repeat customers who find the food and the surroundings exceptional. My wife and I both partook in Doris's mouth watering schnitzel. The depth and complexity of flavors that are created at this wonderful lodge are not to be missed....

We only stayed here for one night but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and our meals were solid home cooking. The breakfast was an especial highlight with home-made sausages and secret recipe oat cakes.

Typical German, arrogant & rude! It's a 2 man hotel (owner & his wife). The wife actually tried to be nice however the owner failed miserably. If you're new and not a reoccuring customer you get treated like crap. In addition super expensive for what they offer. All previous comments from others reg. room, food, owner etc. is true. If...

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending four nights at Glenogle Mountain Lodge in June 2015. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and were pleased with the entire experience. Doris and Norbert, who own the lodge, are kind, hospitable hosts, and took such great care of us while we were there! The lodge itself is lovely and well-built,...
