I chose to stay at the Pinewood Inn based on the trip advisor reviews and was not disappointed! The room was very clean, check in/out was a breeze, and having the kitchen to do a bit of cooking was nice. Getting to and from Kicking Horse was very easy, you can't beat the value of this place for how clean... More

We needed a place for the night, on our way to the West Coast. The room was in good shape, well equipped and met our needs just fine. Everything was very clean and worked well. Great value from an independent owner, and a great price. No hesitation in recommending it.

This is a small, 50s style motel that has apparently had a nice renovation recently. The location--behind a trailer park, near a bunch of strip mall stores (including, it must be noted, Timmy's)--leaves something to be desired, but once in one's room that consideration fades. The room we had was spotlessly clean with flatscreen TV, wifi, coffeemaker, and smallish but... More

Literally "Super Clean" and better than most brand name hotels. Even though pets are allowed there was no obvious pet odor. Clean & soft white sheets. The neighborhood looks quite run down but very convenient to all Amenities nearby. Traveled with family of 4 & a Pet . You cant get a better value for money than this place in... More

Stayed here one night with two tired hockey players. Parked right outside our door so we didn't have far to take our luggage. It was just like a tiny house. Everything is painted white and looks crisp and clean. The linens on the bed are soft and white. The kitchen had everything we need for breakfast. There is no interaction with... More

We booked this last minute as we needed an early AM departure for a backcountry lodge. Even with the #1 rating on Trip Advisor, we were pleasantly surprised at the setup: Cozy, clean, with a full kitchen seperate bedroom, parking right outside the door. Set back from the road, it's a bit non descript as we almost drove by it.... More

We stayed for a week to backcountry ski the pass. We were expecting a kitchenette with the full bed/bunkbed room. However, it only has a microwave and tiny fridge. Oh well. It was very cozy for 4. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean, quiet, compact and a great value. They plowed anytime we got any snow and cleared our doorstep--thanks!!... More

Perfect budget place for families to stay at when skiing in Kicking Horse. A bit small but very clean and nice. Somewhat poor possibilities of drying wet ski gear, but otherwise a great choice. Bathtub is a bonus!

We stayed in Pinewood Inn for our Christmas and we had the loveliest time. We booked this motel after very pleasant experience in August when we stayed for 1 night only. The 1 bed deluxe unit was great, super comfortable and very clean.I loved the decor and warm homey feeling. I like small independent motels and the kitchen is special... More

We rented two rooms - BOTH were extremely comfortable, clean and quiet. The cinderblock construction of EACH unit makes them uber quiet even though the trains run by practically next door!! Basic supplies are provided in the rooms - really nice home-made soap in the bathroom - but didn't find a hair dryer? Kitchens seem to be set up for... More
