My husband and I found this place by a travel deal he saw on the web. It was fantastic. We drove in after dark and it was lit beautify with Christmas lights. We could see that the grounds were perfectly manicured even by the light of the night. The front desk lady was spectacular. My husband said she must have...

I would definitely stay here again. Great food, rooms were very clean. Housekeepers looked after our room very well during our 5 night stay. The food in the lounge was amazing. I highly recommend the fry bread pizza. We will be back. :)

From the gorgeous old building that you drive up to (and their beautiful cool white lights in their front entrance that light up the trees and the t-pees), to the comfortable entrance way &, lounge, to the mouth watering menu and equally mouth watering food in the dining room, to the beautiful and large rooms in the Mission Building it...

This was our second visit to St.Eugene Golf Resort & Casino, and we enjoyed even more than our first visit a couple of years ago. The staff are excellent, very considerate of their guests, though the room cleaning staff were not always able to come to our suite to suit our convenience. Bein the off-season, I suspect they have less...

This is a gem in the Rockies. The cafe has great wraps (good ingredients) that are better than most. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I just keep going back! The casino is comparable to the larger cities and has something for everyone

This is a mixed review. It was the best of times and the worst of times. Upon arrival there was a huge line up to check in. I wait and discover that they don't have a room with two beds (I was travelling with a girl friend) in the Mission (the historic part of the hotel) which I had booked...

We always enjoy our stay here. The staff is fantastic. The food is good. The rooms are clean and homey. It is not that far from other cities and towns in the area. If you can get in on the Encore specials, you can get an amazing deal on the rooms.

This is my favourite get out of town for a night place. The pool is warm and open to the sky even at this time of year. They remember that I prefer a room with just one bed when I'm by myself. Got to experience the last day of the old menu and the first of the new menu. Yum!...

Since we got a pretty good deal we though we would get a smelly and loud room... well, we couldn't be more wrong! Although we stayed in the casino lodge and not the Heritage building, we did not hear a peep, Vero noise and we were a few feet from the actual casino... This is by far the cleanest hotel...

I travel extensively for business and I like to stay in hotels that have some character. This hotel definitely has character. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. The buildings could probably do with a bit of maintenance but it's an old property and it's expected that there will be some quirks. I didn't spend a great deal of time...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Framed by the Rockies, the Purcells and the famous St Mary River, the St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino is a spectacular destination for getaways, vacations, conferences and retreats. The resort is located 10 minutes from Cranbrook, 5 minutes from the Cranbrook Airport and 20 minutes from the picturesque town of Kimberley. Within its historic walls and the connecting Lodge are beautifully appointed, modern guestrooms and conference facilities. Visit our Interpretive Centre operated by The Ktunaxa Nation Council to learn more about the building’s fascinating history, and the people, mythology and culture found only in this part of the world. St. Eugene offers a wealth of culinary experiences to please the palate and delight the senses. Onsite food and beverage choices include informal fine dining in the Purcell Grill overlooking the sun-drenched deck and golf course. For individuals looking for a more relaxed setting, unwind with tapas in the Fisher Peak Lounge, play a game of billiards or simply enjoy the 19th Hole Bar & Grill. Also on site is the Casino of the Rockies – decorated in a "Gold rush Boom town" theme with 224 slot machines, 10 table games and delicatessen style dining in Fred’s Saloon. In its inaugural year, our 18-hole, Les Furber-designed course was named "one of Canada’s top new courses" by Golf Digest Magazine. The pristine fairways and white sand bunkers wind their way through several different environments, creating a unique combination of links, forests and a spectacular view of the St. Mary River. Our fitness centre features a fully equipped gym, steam room, sauna, a heated pool and two hot tubs. ... more   less
