We went for a three night stay, and sadly left with a sour taste in our mouths. Our room and spa treatments were all lovely and the restaurant has excellent wait staff. But the chef, the cornerstone of a good restaurant, misses. While his dishes sound and look lovely, the taste just isn't there- in spite of his over salting....

We rented out the Kingfisher Banquet Room for our company Christmas party. We had 23 guests - the room was large enough to seat everyone - family style, and still have lots of standing/ mingling room, even with the private bar and food tables. This room does NOT have an ocean view - but night time in December, you don't...

Kingfisher spa is beautiful and relaxing. The hotel room, however, needs major work. The walls, doors and furnishings are in need of major touch ups. For the money we spent, I felt like I was in a motel. The linens were clean and comfortable and the service was excellent. I'll be going back to the spa, but not staying overnight...

Just returned from a weekend at Kingfisher. We booked the ALL ABOUT ME PACKAGE that was suppose to include Oceanview Room (2 nights) - which it did - but not especially nice room for the price; $100.00 credit at Spa - which we used for massage and it was awesome! $100.00 credit in dinning room - excellent food and staff....

Service was fine I'm sure the mouse enjoyed his visit watching the lady on the tread mill. He was outside and we have pictures to prove it. !! Brown water in the Jacuzzi and bathroom on our second day.

By far the best resort spa I have ever been to! The professionalism of the staff far exceeded my expectations and they are genuinely concerned with your well-being and comfort. . The restaurant is fabulous - try any of the seafood dishes and the truffle fries!. The hydropath is an experience not to be missed! Treatments at the spa were...

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Kingfisher. The outdoor salt water, heated pool was amazing. Even swimming in the rain. We did the Hydropath and it was my husband's first time. He loved it. This is a great place to go and relax. The staff are wonderful. We will be back.

We just spent 3 fantastic days at The Kingfisher for the second year in a row. We arrived extremely late. I mean only Security was awake! We just had to squeeze in one more morning at KF. The check in as so seamless. We were in our room in minutes. I might do this again next year!

Our room was not the cleanest and the walls were paper thin from outside. It was quiet on the property while we were there though and was not too bothersome. Crusty stains on the curtains, dirty floor and not cleanest toilet. Cobwebbs on wall. Bedding and linens were clean. View was amazing. Pool, hot tub and steam room were very...

Like all of us on here I've had a variety of Caesar salads in my time. Never Anywhere have had one as good as this. Period. I now drive an hour from Nanaimo once a month on average just to have it. Crisp, crisp beautiful romaine hearts. Razor thin slices of prosciutto and Parmesan cheese... in abundance... plump caper berries,...
